Tlevar noticed Lief glancing at his sword and swiftly concealed it beneath his cloak. "All I shall tell you is that it has been passed down through my family, ever since the days of Adin. Anything else about it is another one of those secrets I mentioned. Just take comfort in knowing it will be cutting down your enemies and shall never taste your blood."

"You're welcome." Tlevar suddenly came to a stop, his blade now reacting strongly. Before them was a grove, and it didn't seem like a grove that should exist at all. It was dark, disgusting. An abomination that should not be there. No doubt their first enemy was inside. "In there it waits, faith incarnate. Guarded by a dark entity that I know nothing of. I feel sorrow emanating from within. Sorrow and greed mixed into one, this affront to the forest."

{Despite my knowledge of Gorl, I think I can only focus on Tlevar}
Tlevar held Lief back with an arm, taking care to keep his blade concealed beneath the folds of his cloak. "Tread carefully. I can sense an evil that has been here for some time now, longer than any of us have been alive. It is far too rooted for us to underestimate, of that you can be sure." With his warning spoken, Tlevar moved his arm away before striding forward, waiting for Lief to enter first. This was, after all, the young boy's trial. Not Tlevar's.
