I think the name archive is a fantastic idea ^-^ I would have use for it because when someone says the name of their horse, I flee to the archive to find it, but there aren't names so it's hard.

I second this XD Finding horses is a little difficult without the names being there c:

I think it depends on the artist. Some are ok with it, but some prefer that the form is left alone c: I don;t think there was ever an official rule about it.

About the name things; if the name you want has already been used, you would have to PM the user who owns the horse with the name you want to use to see if it's all right.
I don't really want to see any other Ambrosias or Neomas running around.

Honestly, I don't think the name thing is a big deal. Not trying to offend anyone if I am D: sorry!
But, it's just apart of naming. There is always go to be a double of a name. It's like our real life names. We have a choice. I think we have the rights to naming our ponies whatever we choose. As long as we choose it without ripping off someone else's name.
And saying that we cant name our ponies the name we want because someone else has that name for their pony is like saying you cant have this horse coat color because I have it. Does that make sense?
Like, if I went through someone's horse thread and saw that their horses name was Ripple. And then I named my horse Ripple. That would be a no-no.
I feel like we don't really need a name archive but whatever floats gator's boat, I'm okay c:

That's what I was saying in the first place you two. I feel like a name archive would help me when it comes to trying to find them in the archive, so yeah that's the main reasoning. Parina is just a name that I thought up a long time ago, and I would be disappointed if anyone were to decide they will be using it. I love that name ;3; and oh my goodness Bears yay :D
