Emelia flicked her tail in understanding, and turned to gaze at the burning embers. "I don't know if I could go back." she said quietly, remembering her parents not being right behind her when they said they would be. She shivered, and wrapped her wings closer into her body. She didn't know how they died, but she was sure it wasn't pleasantly. Nothing humans did was pleasant. She almost beared her fangs at the thought of those scrawny miserable beings.
"Even if I do have fire, who knows they won't just put it out again and look me, us, back up?" she added in, sighing at the thought of losing her freedom.

Forteras nodded his head again. He understood what she felt. He didn't like the idea of going back to that wretched place, but he didn't want D'idoria's final resting place to be in the hands of a human. "I understand you don't want to go back, but if we go together I'm sure we can do it. No dragon, big or small is weak. Young or old, dragons together can solve a problem. And if anyone an old 700 year old dragon trusted, it would be you. Young and courageous." He rumbled, his tail flicking. He made a faint smile at Emelia.

Emelia dipped her head, and faintly smiled back at the male. "I don't know." she said simply, still in denial of going back to the humans. "This place is pretty great, but to risk it all just seems..." she sighed into the air. "You must really love your sister." she stated, looking up at him once more. "I wish I knew what it was like to love someone. All my family is gone." she said, twitching her tail in annoyance. She didn't have friends, family, anyone to care about and that annoyed her quite frankly.

A screeching cockarice sailed past him, flapping its wings madly as it spiralled down to its death. Fanir was completely vunerable - the only weapons he could use were his spines and tail. His talons were stuffed with prey, along with his mouth so he couldn't breathe fire. A cockarice was hovering just beinhd him; fire dribbling out of it's mouth, and it was obvious it was about to send it's scorching flame his way. Thinking quickly; fanir twisted around, slashing the creature with his long, whip like tail - sending it falling to the ground. Following grigori, he beat his wings couple times, giving him a burst of wind and followed just under her to the mountains.

Grigori looked down to see Fanir flying just below her, she felt a warmness spread through her body. So this is what it was like to be with other dragons like her. Her blue eyes scanned the mountains for any caves they could move into when she spotted one located near the tops, she turned her white cranium behind her to see the group of cockatrices following them at a distance. Knowing they won't be able to fly up higher than this altitude, Grigori tilted her wings upwards and slowly pumped her wings. "Over there," she pointed out to Fanir with her snout motioning to the cave high in the mountains.

Morgan shielded slightly as the small dragoness snarled at him, telling him off. It was strange that a smaller dragon was telling him off so to remain more dominate he made a low rumble in his throat, he looked down to see a small brown bag descend quickly into the magnificent trees below. Sighing knowing that he had to retrieve the bag Morgan folded his wings in mid air and let himself dramatically plummet towards the tree. "Come on then! Let's find your bag!" he said slyly with a crooked smile revealing his dangerously pointed teeth. About 20 metres from the tops of the trees Morgan opened his wings and hovered flapping his wings quickly like a hawk before they strike. He used his sharp optic vision to search for the bag and spotted it hanging from the lowest branch above a large cave, Morgan smiled to himself and slowly lowered himself down to the ground trying not to break branches or trees. Because of his enormouos size he could barely fit in the thick undergrowth. When his muscular back leg were on the ground Morgan stopped moving his wings and went down on his claws and stalked towards the tree with the bag.

Forteras looked sympathetic. He stepped closer towards Emelia. "My egg hatched alone with D'idoria. We had to fend for ourselves, and that wasn't fun. Then, they snagged us and we ended up trapped on the island, but when our fire came back on that year, we escaped. But they caught D'idoria again. I knew that I needed to protect her, but I was too scared to go anywhere close to that place, so I went back on my own." He paused to study the flickering flames, then he turned back to Emelia. "You know, I wasn't always mean and private. I used to be friendly, protective." He murmured, his tail flicking. "When I first saw you, the way you simply stood and studied me, you reminded me of her. Not by the looks, but by that fearless gaze. I never felt this protective in four hundred years. If your parents aren't out there anymore, I could be that one that watched out for you. That protected you." He rumbled, gazing back at Emelia. I'd never make the same mistake of leaving you. He thought privately.

Ares instantly lifted his head at the sound of another dragon coming in to land.
He lifted his neck, straining for a better view, until he saw Aaleyah's white form emerge from the trees. He relaxed, seeing it was someone familiar.
"Hello, Aaleyah," he replied, dipping his head in greeting.
He pulled his neck up, glancing around the woods. It was quiet and still, with the occasional birdsong. "How was your morning?" he asked in an attempt to spark a conversation. He wasn't the best with social conversation, but he could at least try.

The Targaryen glared at him as he growled, then followed his gaze down to the tree limb. His sly tone of voice set her on edge, so she watched his every move when she followed him down to the forest floor. She let out a dramatic sigh, darting in front of him to the tree limb. Mystic lept up, grabbing the stings with her teeth, using her wings to propel her further. Now that had her belongings back, she watched the much larger dragon through the thin cover of trees that separated them. "Thanks for that. Now, who are you?" she asked, flying up onto the bridge of his nose. She turned around, facing outwards from his muzzle, looking around. "It must be cool to have this view 24/7!" Mystic called, flicking her tail back and fourth. Of course, she did this to annoy him, for she was only about as big as the tip of his nose to his eyes. At least she knew, from here, she'd get a warning movement if he was going to attack. She just hoped he would stay still long enough for her to open her wings and run if he was hostile.

Emelia raised her lips, her teeth slightly showing. "I don't need anyone to protect me." she said, almost snapped. "I don't need parents, my parents died, I learnt to live. I'm old enough to look after myself. I don't need a baby sitter, or someone to put me to bed at night. I'm FINE." Emelia knew he didn't mean any harm, but things like this always made her snap even whens he didn't need to. Sure, she was small. Sure, she didn't have much protection. But she was old enough to be classified a young adult and she didn't need a protector. "I don't want to become your replacement for her, it's an easy way out for you. Just, go and find her?" She got up and walked outside, sitting down and letting the fresh air calm her heart.

Forteras appeared shocked, stepping out side and his tail bristling. He narrowed his eyes. "Now wait just a minute. I'M replacing her? Did you not hear me? I was going to look for her. Oh I'm sorry YOU remind me of D'idoria. Shouldn't you be honored? Forteras growled, his tail swinging. "And I'm sorry I meant by someone to could stand beside if you were chewing too big a meal. Well, if you feel you don't need anyone to help out in a difficult situation, then why don't YOU go back on your merry way?" He snapped. He knew he didn't mean it, but his self-defence took control.
