I'm looking for a mate for Almar or even just a stallion who I can breed her with. Thank you! <3

I have two stallions that don't have mates, and have open slots, and open breedings this month. *points to link in siggy*

1. I'm looking to breed my mare, Ash, so if anybody is interested, PM me. I'm fine with stem/natural/etc etc.
2. They aren't grown yet but I'll have two stallions and two mares up for breeding in a little over two weeks so if anybody is interested in pre-reserving a breeding slot PM me!

With so many Tölters around, there may be double ups on names. There are double ups on a few horses I have seen, and I was wondering whether we wanted to stop this so there isn't any confusion by making like a name thread, or adding names to the archive, or something. What do you guys think about this?

I honestly don't think that double names are a huge deal, being as humans have repeating names, as well as everything else in the world, so it's only natural for a few to repeat now and again. Husky do you think my breedings will be done soonishy? I just want to ensure you haven't forgotten them xD

I think that is a perfectly reasonable statement, I was just wondering about opinions on the matter, since I know a lot of others adoptables that have the rule of no double names.

And I have most certainly not forgotten them, my brother is being a little annoying in that he won't let me use his computer that much, our old laptop will only work sometimes and I also have a commission that I must do before the 20th, so they are only delayed. I'm so terribly sorry, I really cannot help it! If it was up to me I would have them done in a heartbeat and I wouldn't stop until I'd finished them as we'll as their a gongs so I could post them on time.

I think that people should try and stay away from doubling names. But, and that is a huge but, I don't like the one name only used once kind of thing. Because I might see a horse I wanna name Waldo and someone else could have used that magnificent name already shattering all of my hopes and dreams. Not so dramatically really but you catch my drift right?

I don't know what to really do, because like with common/standard names it doesn't bother me, but with creative and more unusual names that are thought out doe. I feel like a name archive would be a decent idea, I'm all for it.

When you say creative names Nim do you mean like show names? Cause show names are long and well thought out and I would be very annoyed if someone decided to have something like Toffee In My Coffee as their horses name along with Mable's. But for the simple names like Mable I don't care if they have the same. But I too am up for the archive. I try not to name my horses the same as others so it would be helpful. I'm pretty sure there was a call name I wanted to use but didn't because Nim had a horse and I respected that. Or maybe it was Gator or Bink who had the smae name I wanted I don't remember who

Well of course the show name, but I also spend a lot of time to pick out names not of the time for my horses so they have good names and the names fit them, and I don't want for people to use my thread of tolters to help them name their own. I tried to give them all names that would be difficult to duplicate so yeah.

I think the name archive is a fantastic idea ^-^ I would have use for it because when someone says the name of their horse, I flee to the archive to find it, but there aren't names so it's hard.
