Easy. Rule the world. It's mine...
I'm ashamed you believed that someone like me would
have such cliché and unreachable ambitions.
Seriously, whomever actually believes that they'll get
anywhere by attempting to gain control of the entire
world needs to get out of their mother's basement
and breath in the fresh air rather than the fumes of
whatever drug they're using to wash away any
brain cells still function. Honestly though, I don't have
any huge ambitions rather than attaining a decent cosplay.
I'm in contentment with my position in life right now and
I honestly don't know anything that I would change.
I'm happy, I have a good job and a good hobby and
good friends. There's nothing more I could have asked for.
I guess if there's one thing I could want more than anything
would be to be closer with my friend Akatora. We were
really good friends in the beginning of my life, even though
he's a few years older than me. Then he got hot and moved
away. I've heard a name similar to his around in the "office"
or was it his name? Anyway, yes, I miss him more than
anything, despite what I said earlier about being able
to live without him.

Aside from that, I guess you could consider
creating a cosplay with a good enough
quality to compete with it would also be
another one of my goals. I mean, to
legitimately compete. As in a
contender for the competition. Not
just one of those contestants that
gets a few cheers and no one
remembers their hard work and
dedication to their cosplay.
Yes, I do want to be remembered
in the community I invested a lot
of my time and effort in.

Well... mainly just Achievement Hunter. They're one of my more
recent obsessions. My favorite Achievement Hunter is Ray,
even though some of his jokes are offensive at times.
He just gives up so quickly and it's hysterical. As far as
a favorite let's play; how could I pick just one when there's
so many good ones to choose from? I... wouldn't be able
to deny desperately refreshing their youtube channel whenever
one is delayed... Another one of my ambitions, I guess you
could say, would be to actually make it to RTX RTX is basically
an event in Austin Texas where Achievement Hunter and
Roosterteeth hold Q/A panels and stuff like that. You know, it's
basically your average comic con except the people there
are less freaky.

Obviously if I have a cosplay dedicated to a character
from Attack on Titan then I'm in the fandom. So, I
guess I'll start off by explaining what it is because
unfortunately there are still some people in this world
who haven't watched or read Attack on Titan. Attack
on Titan is a very popular anime and manga that
features a story about a young boy who's stuck in a
"magical" world where humans are stuck behind a
wall because these huge things called titans would
eat them if they just walked around at free will.
His main ambition is to join something called the
Survey Corps which pretty much goes around and
tries to kill titans but in all reality they're more than
likely to be killed in the process.
I first found out about AoT way before most of
the popular youtubers... and to be honest they
kind of ruined it for me. Now AoT is even
dubbed on American shows, which defeats
practically the entire purpose of it being an "anime".
Honestly, I know I'm being a big baby about it
considering I'll still show up to cons in my cosplay
and I'll still be watching the second season,
I just don't like it, to say the least. The last thing
I want is some 12 year old kid saying "What is it,
Eren?" I guess you have to be in the fandom
to actually understand that joke... Anyway,
OK, I know there are people who are going
to give me crap for not using the Japanese
name but, well... sorry? I don't really know
how to excuse myself from this other than
the fact that I'm too lazy copy the entire
Japanese name, and if I abbreviated it,
it would look like I'm just repeating the
word "sink" over and over again.

Image

Image
Image

OK if there's anything you should know about
me is that I am not a person who gets super stoked
about the release of a second season of anything,
let alone anime, seeing as I'm not a huge fan of
animes in general. I'm counting down the days
to the release of the anime of Super Dangan
Ronpa 2. Dangan Ronpa just... doesn't feel
like an anime and surpasses all of my negative
feelings towards the stereotypes of most animes.
You see, I'm a busy plumerian. I don't have the
time to sit around and gawk over animated
humans with large eyes and tiny/microscopic
noses.
The difference is with Dangan Ronpa; it's a
murder - mystery kind of show that was based
off of a video game. Call me psychotic if you
must, but murder intrigues me. Of course, I
would never actually make plans to commit murder
but learning about different crimes and how
they happened just... I can't explain it, it's
just really interesting. Of course Dangan
Ronpa would be right up my ally then,
the whole point of the show is s group
of gifted kids are thrown into a high school
together where the only way they can leave
is by murdering another one of them,
and getting away with it without anyone
finding out they committed the crime in the
class trial. If the murderer is exposed, they're
killed. If they get away, everyone else is killed.

Image

You have to excuse me, I'm a bit of a fan boy
when it comes to the Avengers. Like... to
the point where it's not even funny, it may
actually be a serious problem. Call for a
psychiatrist the next time I'm found at 3 AM
watching the Avengers for the fourth time
in a row. OK, this is going to sound a little
odd but you know how you have that "feel
good" movie? That one movie that always
cheers you up when you're down? Yeah,
that's the Avengers for me. Don't even
ask me how, it's not an uplifting movie,
it leads to Tony Stark's anxiety attacks in
the third Iron Man movie. I can't explain
it... There's something about it that just
lifts me up when I'm down. Maybe it's my
favorite actor, Tom Hiddleston? Although,
the Avengers is not my favorite movie, it's
a very close second.

Favorite memories

This is going to sound a bit corny but whatever.
My favorite memory is with my friend Akatora,
even though we don't talk anymore. This was
on one of the few occasions that he came back
to visit me and I was just getting over the whole
cosplay ordeal (LIKE I SAID IT WAS TRAUMATIZING).
Akatora was like "Hey buddy, let's go do a thing,"
except he'd probably want me to emphasize more
on "how cool he is" or whatever. Anyway, Akatora
decided that by cheering me up, he'd actually try
video games, something I've been trying to get him
to do for ages. We settled on Grand Theft Auto Five,
which had just came out and... to be blunt, Akatora
sucked at it. He couldn't even cross the street, he
seemed to be treating it like a real life event. It was
hysterical; he would just stand at the side walk trying
to look inconspicuous and innocent. And then I showed
him how to change his outfit. He... went a little
overboard to say the least. And when I mean overboard,
I mean we would have had crowds of social justice
bloggers standing with pitchforks at our front door
from the comments we made. We weren't trying
to be offensive, we just kinda let it out. You know
how it is, laughter brings down all of your mental
filters. (It wasn't like we were in public either.)
Akatora decided he wanted to dress his character
up in every stereotype he possibly could. And I
mean every. stereotype. To save myself from
all the drama of triggers, I'm not going to list
what he did. (Trust me, it's better this way.)
I know this seems small,
in comparison to the grand scheme of things, but it's
one of my favorite memories. In fact, it's one of my
only memories with Akatora. He seems to be avoiding
me more and more every day, and he has a reason to.

As I mentioned before, I have very uptight
parents who are quite happy where they
are with no ambitions of moving away from
their shells they call home. So vacations
where very rare. From where I lived, there
was a lake a few miles away with a very pretty
shore line. When I was growing up, that's all I
wanted, was to visit that lake. Of course,
my parents said no because they thought
I would drown. They always told me that
I wasn't able to swim and I would sink right
to the bottom, even though I'd long
since passed Physical Education in school
which included swimming and diving.
You wouldn't believe my excitement
when my parents finally agreed to
take me on my 14th birthday.
I... can't even begin to describe the
beauty of watching a setting sun
on a waterfront to an audience
through text. It makes those
breathtaking photographs of sunsets
look as if they weren't photoshopped.
There was something very alleviating
about my miniature vacation... It
was the sigh of relief of having a
childhood dream fulfilled as
well as the opportunity to forget
your real life. Chasing the birds on
the lakefront and splashing in the
water, swimming away from an
invisible mutated shark... I would
give anything to return to simple times
like these when I could just run
around and pretend and play as
a child again.

Michaelangelo

Postby monty » Sun Jul 20, 2014 4:13 pm

nevergonnagiveyouupImage

I get total points for being original here.
Michaelangelo is the name of my first,
and only pet that I'm allowed in my
apartment, my little turtle. Pft, no
I didn't at all name him after my
favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtle. Not at all. It could be
worse though. I could have given
it one of those 12 year old names
like song or even worse a warrior
cat name. Mikey was a rescued
turtle actually. Me and my friend
Sunni recovered the turtle from a
group of 12 year old boys who thought
it was funny to throw the poor,
helpless reptile off of various different
ledges and spinning him in various
different ways. Saving the turtle
was actually really fun... And
probably would've lead to our
arrest. So, I was walking home
with Sunni, it was probably the
first week of my new job and I
was on cloud nine. You know
the feeling of getting a new job,
one that you actually like, you
feel like the whole world revolves
around you at that moment. Well,
to navigate the building where I
work you need to have some form
of identification to pass through
certain rooms for security reasons.
They give you this card that you
have to scan in certain doors,
but the card itself looks pretty
legit, as in I could pass off as
a FBI agent.
It was Sunni's idea. These kids were
being obnoxiously loud when we
walking past, and I mean loud
I could tell that Sunni was bothered
by it too but I wasn't expecting her
to lean over and tell me we should
pretend to be police officers just to
attempt to terrify these kids. Of
course I laughed and went along
with it because the opportunity to
publicly embarrass children
surprisingly doesn't come around
as often as one might think.
Once we finally took two seconds
to formulate a plot, we ran out,
full speed ahead, towards the
kids. It didn't take long for
their little heads to pop up and
for their eyes to take up their
whole face. It was almost
cartoony, the way I stopped
just in time so I didn't
dive tackle one of the kids.
I don't know where it came
from, but I spent five whole
minutes, Sunni counted,
grilling the kids on the importance
of treating animals well. I
would've gotten away with
it all too if Sunni didn't chuckle
at one of the kid's whimper.
That's when they got suspicious
and demanded to see my badge.
So, me being me, I let them, thinking
they were too stupid to tell the
difference. Apparently these kids
were masters of law because
they clearly saw that there was
no actual power behind my badge
other than opening doors at my
convenience. So, we bolted as
soon as the kids pulled out a
phone. It looked a little odd
you could say... two plumerians
running away from a group of
children with a turtle in hand.

Annoyances

Postby monty » Tue Jul 22, 2014 10:37 am

Image

OK, this is probably the most over
used object to be annoyed at, but
that doesn't change the fact that
children make me want to stick my
head in a bucket of boiling lava.
It's not the idea of children that
bothers me so much, it's more like
the unneeded screaming and crying
and the irresponsible parents who
ruin my time by allowing their
kids to misbehave. Sure, I'm
giving in to stereotypes when
I say that, but it's true. Yes, I'm
aware of the fact that not all
Children are poorly behaved, and
I applaud the parents of those
children for reproducing such
a well behaved double. Sure,
this doesn't mean that I won't
want children in the future but
if I'm going to a restaurant or a
plane to have a good time, it is
not my responsibility to take
pity on your screaming child.

It's not just little children I can't
stand, it's mostly tweens.
Especially on the internet. You
honestly can't go anywhere on
the internet without some dumb
kid saying "XDDDDDD TACOZ!!".
I may lose my head if one more
kid posts "XDD UR SO COOL BE
MY FRIEND I'M RANDOM o3o"
in my tumblr inbox I'm going
to lose it.

Image

The last paragraph leads me to
this one, most emoticons... I
honestly cannot stand the use of
most emoticons, especially repetitively.
The ones that really rustle my jimmies
are -.- and o3o. -.- because just look
how obnoxious it is. "You're awful -.-"
I just can't take anything seriously if
you add on that godawful
combination of punctuation. I can't
tell if it's worse than o3o. Sure, o3o is
more positive, but it's equally
annoying if not more-so. Let
me ask you this, if I applied for a
job, do you think I'd look very
professional if I just walked in like
"HAI o3o" No. I would get kicked
out of the building. The entire staff
would see that and drop kick me out.

Image
Image

Seriously though. What is so wrong
with someone marrying or loving
whoever they want? Why should it
be any of our business? I've been
publicly embarrassed because of
my sexuality... or someone attempted
to have me publicly embarrassed,
I just didn't care. Honestly,
people die every day because of
how unaccepting the world is
of different sexualities. Being
neutral also counts as homophobia
to me, because if you're quiet,
how are we going to know we
have your support? Being quiet
won't change minds.

Story;;

Postby monty » Tue Jul 22, 2014 2:31 pm

I didn't even want to bring this up,
to be honest. It was my friends
idea, they thought it'd be an
interesting read... OK, so rewind
here. The day I met Alazne was the
first day that me and Esburn had ever
cosplayed together. Since he loves
superheros, I couldn't show up as
Loki like I wanted. (That and he was
dressed up as Batman. Marvel
does not mix well with DC Comics.)
We were having a good time, we
got a few pictures of cool cosplayers
and had our pictures taken ourselves.
Everything was all good until she
interrupted us to tell us all the flaws
in our cosplays. (Flaws that have
been FIXED, thank you very much.)
Now, me being me, I was not about
to let someone who wasn't even in
cosplay tell me off. Now, I wouldn't
exactly say I made a scene... but I
kind of made a huge scene. And by
scene I mean there was literally a
crowd around me chanting "fight,
fight, fight, fight," (It took Esburn
at least five minutes to clear
everything up, he was the only
one with a working brain at the
time it seems like. )
Still... ever since, the mere mention
of her name has frazzled me. I
really didn't want to write this, too.
It just brings back all those godawful
memories.

So, to save you all the trouble,
I decided it would be smart, formatting wise,
to fit this into another site so that it would
save space and not take forever on my end
to code it. So, yes it was lazy. Whatever,
I could care less. Click the image to go see
it.

The mapmaker

Postby monty » Tue Jul 22, 2014 2:32 pm

Image

So, like I mentioned before, although I may
have a high-class job that others would
probably kill for because there's not a lot of
actual work that goes into it, my navigation
team sucks. As in, they rely on only
what little brain cells they haven't flushed
away rather than actually using a GPS or
at least a map. So, that's when I met
Botolf.
OK I should get this out of the way first,
the only reason we need a navigation
team is because from our base, some
how our headquarters is inept to all science
and sense of reality because we don't receive
any satellite data when it comes to maps.
Why do we even need maps, one might ask?
Simple. Whenever I'm asked to go on a
stakeout or we just want to have a clear
layout when we redesign, we need maps.
Anyway, so because apparently I'm the only
one that can get anything done, I decided
to take the task of figuring out directions
for my team. (A take one for the team
kind of feel if you know what I mean.)
It seems that no one in this town had
a low price GPS and if you so much as
said the word 'map' you'd get a funny
look.
Thankfully I went into that coffee
shop because if I was actually
paying attention to where I was
walking then I wouldn't have run
into Botolf. No, quite literally. Ran
into him. By the time we both
got up, there was a whole spiral
of maps all over the coffee shop
floor and the local hipsters were
eyeballing us. So... a few coffees later,
(ones I bought because I'm a gentleman,
and also I suck at saying sorry.) I
found out that this stranger carrying
what I needed worked for store that
made and delivered maps and to
my luck this happened to be one of his
weekly stops. Soo.... a few moments
later, and I have arrangements to
pick up a professionally made map
and I managed to do my entire
navigation team's job in two
hours. Moral of the story;
dive tackle as many people as you
can and just maybe you'll get
work done.

So, it's time for me to finally wrap this up, I know you've all been waiting for it.
I've had... fun to say the least. I mean, I think I managed to comply with
all of the rules and restrictions this site has. Anyway, I know you're all
probably crying now that I've said that you have to stop reading about me... or
do you? Lucky for you, I made myself an ask.fm for you all to talk to me through
or read my amazing responses. (Unfortunately this site doesn't allow for me
to share my tumblr on it because of my personal information and my language... )

A wrap up of Chase

Postby monty » Tue Jul 22, 2014 2:39 pm

Image

So, I thought I'd put this section here
just in case it didn't come off clearly
in the form. ^^

Image
Chase definitely loves being the center
of attention and he certainly knows how
to entertain. His comments are always
fierce and he's not afraid of what others
will think about him if he speaks his mind.
Of course, that always leads to trouble and
usually ends up with him getting
reprimanded or losing a friend.

Image

I'm pretty sure I could count "making
up new retorts" as a pastime for Chase.
Chase just loves showing the others who's
boss. He can back it up to. He's a very quick
thinker and a very intelligent one at that.
If you annoy him, he's going to tell you
off and it's going to be brutal because he
doesn't have any mental filters when he
gets in the zone.

Image

Although it's not to a lot of things, Chase
is very sensitive about his 'triggers'. Although,
all of them do not trigger horrific memories,
the writer lacks a better word to label them
as so we're just going to stick with triggers.
Whenever people disregard his triggers, he
gets very defensive and when it's really bad
the pitch of his voice changes mid sentence.
The only thing that really sets him off is
negative comments on his cosplays because
he worked really hard on them and the
memory of him in a poorly made slenderman
cosplay still haunts him. There are a few
side things that bother him but mocking
his cosplays is his main trigger.

Image

Chase works hard for what he wants.
Although he may have gotten a lucky
break with his easy job, he works hard
for everything else. His cosplay was
completely hand crafted by him, by
rather cheap materials since that was
all his finances would allow at the time.
His reputation and his intellect were all
strengthened and formed by him and him
alone.

Image

Well, when you first meet him at
least. Chase isn't a very sociable
plumerian. He's not good at making
new friends, in fact he's actually
kind of awkward because he's not
sure of what you'll think of him. Yes,
he may not care what people think
of him in general, but he doesn't
want everyone to hate him, he
still likes having friends. Once
you break through his wall and
he warms up to you, it's hard to
get him to stop talking.

If you notice, throughout the form,
Chase fails to actually address what
he does for a living. While he may
not know... That doesn't mean I
don't know. Chase was hired by a
very shady individual, one who
he has never met before. This
"shady individual" has a grudge
against a certain plumerian,
Akatora, because the shady
individual's mate was killed by
someone who was released from
an animal shelter by Akatora.
So, what does this shady individual
decide is a good idea? He kidnaps
a large, Egyptian tribe of
plumerians and subjects them all
to grueling experimentations,
leaving only experiment #159 to
survive, Prosper. Of course,
when the time comes, eventually
the government will crack down
on his plan. So what does this
shady individual do? He selects
a random, young fresh face
out of a local academy to
displace all of his dirty work
on. He tricks the poor, easily
manipulated Chase into believing
he's working for a secret
government organization but
little does Chase know, he's
really just a poster dog. He'd
been lead in by false senses of
leadership and wealth to control
the life over another in pure
ignorance. The most ironic part
about it is that Chase's worst fear
is causing so much pain and misery
that it affects someone's life
to a large extent. So, one
more question to be answered,
who is this "shady individual"?
None other than the elusive
thief, Monty of course.

Image

In case it wasn't obvious, Chase
has had a crush on Akatora ever
since they first met. Of course,
it got progressively worse through
out the years. Of course, Chase
is too nervous/oblivious to tell
that Akatora probably wouldn't
reject him. -eyebrow wiggle-
