Kyo rushed back over to where Molly was, he growled. "Stupid humans.." Kyo's eyes regained there worried look. "Are you sure you're okay, because you don't look okay." He whimpered, sitting down besdie her.

[Pooka.]

"Well Kanthar fixed it up. It still looks bad though. He also gave me poppy seeds, so now it doesn't hurt as bad. It is just really hard for me to walk." Molly told him as she looked at the side of her gut.

[Fawnie]

"Well I'll help you walk if you need it, and I'm glad you're feeling a bit better." He replied, his eyes loosing their worry to be replaced by hope. His tail soon began to beat softly on the ground again, this was now a habbit.

Maline walked over to where Molly and Kyo were at and said, "Can everyone please gather 'round? I have an announcement."

[Pooka.]

Molly smiled at him. "Thank you. I would really appreciate that." Molly said warmly. Then she looked over at her sister and waited to see what she said.

Lysar turned to the alpha and waited to hear what she had to say. Humans near the dens was a very dangerous thing indeed.

Kanthar tended to Ali while listening to the alpha. He wondered what she would have to say about this.

[Fawnie]

Kyo smiled. "Anytime." He replied, gazing back at Ali with the same worried glance.

Maline started while she had everyone's attention. "Well as today's events have been very disturbing and I still need to think about what we need to do to stay safe, I have made a decision about something else. I have decided who I think should be Beta Male." She looked at Kyo. "Would you like to accept the rank of Beta Male?" She asked Kyo.

[Pooka.]

Molly shot her head to Kyo and smiled.

Lysar was surprised. He had thought the meeting would be about the appearance of humans and the injuries to two important pack members, not about appointing a beta. The appointment of a wolf to beta did not concern Lysar very much, other than that this was another wolf to give special respect. He respected all the other wolves though, so this really seemed irrelevant to him, especially at a time like this.

Kanthar turned from Ali for a brief moment and smiled, happy for Kyo. He felt Kyo definitely deserved the title and he knew he and Molly would be very happy together.
