Is it possible to make a horse purebred by breeding it with it's breed for a really long time or is it impossible?

It used to be possible but a year....? or so ago howrse changed it so that a horse will always have at least 1% of a mix that is in it's genealogy.

What breed of horse are you trying to have as a purebred? I'm not saying it's possible as the comment before me had made it clear that it isn't, but I was saying if you wanted a purebred I have quite a few.

I am still offering coverings from mostly Akhal-Teke males 500-1000 in cost. I'm on the US board and I'm selling my Zeus's lightening bolt I won't sell it for too much, but I wont' exactly be cheap with it.. I think I have a thoroughbred and a purebred Spanish horse that are giving up offerings.
