(( Hmm... I don't remember it... Oh well...! ))

At the sound of the scream, Merr's eyes flicked open, his breathing returning to normal. He ripped his body from the wires the humans had used to moniter his body and jumped out the window, landing gracefully on the otherside as if nothing had happened. Carefully, he raised his head and scented the air, before running in the direction of the calls, growling under his breath. Here we go again...

(( Could we have it that the beast is the reason Merr came here? Because it was pure accident that he found his way to Yara, so there must have been another reason. Maybe he chased it here, but could never properly fight it? ))

Luke walked out from under Yara and quickly ran towards the beast that was chasing the poor pup. "Get away from him!" He snarled.

[Solanum]

Yara dragged himself after Luke, snarling. "Luke! Stay behind me and... Merr...?" He cocked his head, his brother seemed to be perfectly fine...

"But..." Luke started, but quickly went silent...
InkJR suddenly jumped over a big log and ran towards the monster, but slowed down just as he got to it and had to stop. His legs were shaking because he was too weak to be doing this, and the untreated wounds in his chest were infected. Worst of all, the knife wound in the side of his head had maggots in it, which were basically eating him alive. "M-Merr, get away..." He weakly growled.

[Solanum]

Merr stepped in front of InkJr, kicking him in the air, to be caught by Yara seconds later. "Yara, take the pups. I've been chasing him for quite some time now. He's mine..." He hunched over, extending his neck and baring his fangs. "Leave the kid alone..."

InkJR silently started to cry, which wasn't like him atall...((D8))

Yara turned and dragged himself off, breathing heavily. He had never realised quite how much effort it would be without working back legs... "Luke. Follow me." He gritted his teeth, pushing on despite facing fast approaching exhastion.

Luke slowly followed Yara with his head lowered, feeling bad that he couldn't help his father...
((I completely forgot about Dark and Yuki o.o))
Dark sighed and tried to get up, but the muscles in his legs were completely destroyed...

Yara looked back at Luke, forcing a small smile to creep onto his face. It hurt to move, his body was shutting down. It had reacted badly to the surgery, it had decided that it was time to go. But he didn't want to. He had a life now, others to care for apart from himself... He had to stay. He couldn't let them down.
