Skylar smiled at Gwen, who started teasing Thomas on account of his modesty. She joined in laughing with the girl, and it soon became hysterical laughter. Her stomach moved, and there was no sound coming out. Just a huge grin on her face. gwen's joke was funny, but not that funny. Honestly, the crazy, drunk laughing was what made it so amusing. When she finally regained her composure, she couldn't believe how dumb she'd acted. She was out of breath, and she took a quick puff of her inhaler to catch it. She still had a genuine smile upon her face though. Gwen nearly choked on the brownie though, and she said,"You okay there? Do I need to preform the Heimlich Maneuver?" she teased. However, her voice was still full of concern. "seriously, are you?" Skylar noticed Gwen get a bit more serious though in response to how Skylar had blame herself. "Well, it wasn't my place to poke my nose where it didn't belong. They are a rank higher than me, so I should've just left them be. Besides, there's no harm done. I'm fine, really."

Judd's eyes cast a look over to the door, and by gosh, she was right. He had a mischievous glint in his eyes, and he joked,"I think I hear someone coming up now!" He got to his feet playfully, and stalked up o the door. He was acting like an idiot, maybe due to the booze, or just that he was so happy to be around her. He put his head up against it, glanced around, and said,"Well, I think we're safe for now. But Super Wolfman will always protect his damsel in distress, when she needs it anyways." He came back over to her, and was delighted to fid that she had crawled down from her little perch on her bed. "And what do I have to be graced with the presence of a queen. Why, I'm only a mere peasant!" he gasped in mock surprise. He gave a small grin as she passionately agreed with what he had shared with her. "Yeah, to heck with that!" he whooped. Now, he felt all pretenses shrinking away, and he loved the feeling. Judd felt so real, for the first time. He didn't need to hide behind arrogance and cockiness when he was with her.

He lay back down on his little bed, just staring at the ceiling. Only hours before, he had been so upset over Shiloh and Xavier. Now, he couldn't even give them a second thought. He got snapped out of his daydream by Natasha's embarrassed voice. Apparently, she collected oversized t-shirts. Judd had never heard of such a thing, but he personally found it adorable. He rose to his feet and walked over to the beautiful girl he felt ashamed to just now get aquatinted with. "You do know it's usually the opposite way around," he teased. Popular culture dictated that guys offered their large tank-tops to girls, but he liked this situation much better. He dared himself to wrap his arms around her shoulders, and he breathed,"Just kidding. Sure, I'd love to. What sort of shirts do you own? I'll have you know, I only accept clothing of the highest quality!" he teased. While they stood there, he cautiously began to play with her hair. If it made her uncomfortable, he'd stop in a heartbeat.

Arizona tensed for a few seconds before she smiled and hugged him back. The butterflies in her stomach seemed to be having a war inside of her. Ari relaxed into him as he began running his fingers though her hair. She felt little sparks between them as if every little thing was now something huge. " Dang it Black, you making me go soft." She mumbled into his shoulder. Letting out a quick yawn Arizona pulled away from the hug and looked at Jason. " Wanna race back to the cabin? I bet I'll win." She challenged before leaning closer to him." That is if you can handle it." Ari smirked as her ego started to grow again.

Natasha laughed at his playful behavior, covering her mouth as the laughter turned hysterical. Her laugh was chime-like and sweet, but she thought it was rather like a banshee herself. "Well, Super Wolfman, I'll have you know that I only collect the finest threads in all the lands," she boasted. "And I guess the next time I'm in your room, you'll have to conform to society and give me one of your shirts." She said the last sentence flirtatiously, somehow feeling completely comfortable around Judd. As he placed his arm around her shoulder, she cozied up to him. Rather than sitting cross-legged, she stretched her legs out across his lap, and then sighed. "You make a good pillow, you know," she pointed out. She poked his chest to make her point, but her hand didn't move away once it was there. Her wolf wanted to be more bold, to be daring and forward. But Natasha withheld from her wolfish desires, not wanting to give off the wrong message. It wouldn't be the wrong message, her wolf whinnied, it would be exactly correct! Her thoughts died away when he began to play with her hair. She was practically putty in the palm of his hands, right then and there. It was a little known fact about her, but she had a weakness for those who played with her hair or anything touching her neck. "I was going to get you a shirt, wasn't I?" she mumbled, half-dazed now. She couldn't really remember, she was to distracted now.

Zane was reluctant, but he knew that eventually he would've had to place her back on her feet. He nodded, and carefully lowered her to the ground to where she was balanced on both legs. He looked immediately to the wall, curiosity burning in his mind about who all the different, unfamiliar faces were. Things about this fae were beginning to pile up. The scar, the aloof personality, the pictures... why was she so reserved? So secretive? He didn't want to break his gaze from all the pictures, there was no way that he had viewed all of them in that short amount of time, but he looked to Juliana anyways. "I don't recognize any of them," he pointed out. He figured it was the simplest thing to say. He didn't want to pressure her to speak, he knew about having demons that you thought nobody could understand.

"you wouldn't. It's my old pack. From before I moved here," Juliana said simply as he placed her down, pressing a hand to the wall to steady herself before moving p the hallway and turning the lights on, sighing. So secretive was her past. So hurtful were those secrets. She needed to tell someone. Why not tell Zane? Straightening herself up a little she moved towards the small table in the kitchen, sitting down slowly, unable to keep the painful expression from her face. Steel grey eyes looked up at Zane and she swallowed heavily, dipping her head, "This has not always ben my pack. Or my homeland. My parents were the alpha male and female of our pack back in Europe. I was their first child. My father trained me to possibly follow in his foot steps so to speak. I could have asked for nothing more of my life. A loving family, beautiful and kind friends and those who looked out for me. It was perfect," Juliana explained, motioning to the many photo's on the wall, "but sometimes, not everything is what is seems. There was a deep resentment for my father amongst neighbouring packs. A hatred that was passed down from a father to son. I didn't know it, but my best friend, the one I shared everything with, was out for my father's head. Just like that. Gone. Everything. Friends, family, neighbours. Burnt out as his pack burned down everything we had. Literally. My home was in ashes when I returned to it. We were caught, trialled for treachery of some kind. the boy I thought was my friend, the boy over time I had grown to love deeply with my heart? I was wrong in thinking he would stand up for me. I did not recognise him. In that moment, his eyes black with pure and unquenchable hate he just looked straight through me and...well," she stopped, looking down at her hands which shook. it was hard to tell if it was rage, pain, shock or a mixture of all three that were still so fresh in her mind. breathing in and out deeply to calm herself Juliana turned her back to Zane, moving her hair out of the way, her scar vivid now in the light. It was an awful thing that stretched from her shoulder all the way to her tail bone, deep and still ragged and pink around the edges, marring just how deep it went. Such a scar, something like that was inflicted intentionally on a person with every intent of causing as much pain as possible. Finding her voice again Juliana spoke quietly, a bitter tone to her normally sweet voice, "he ordered this to act as a permanent remind of what I was to him. 'Because you are a scar where you ripped apart my heart, I will give you a scar to remember me by as well. A scar that will cut so deep, it will remain until the end of your pitiful existence.' That is what he told me. After that I blacked out. when I woke I felt as though I were on fire. Cradled in my mothers arms, my small and now broken family were on a plane, leaving the country. We never looked back," Juliana finished, sighing deeply. The words cut deep and the truth about her past, once she had spoke a few words just came spilling out. She was not able to keep it in. She wasn't even sure if she was speaking slow enough for zane to understand her. so after a while she just stopped talking, looking down at her hands in shame, eyes closed. She was a strong individual but tears slipped from her eyes. That was why she trusted no one. loved no one. for she had trusted and loved before and then literally been scared by the experience. her whole pack were gone or had become dead to her by joining those whom had burned down their home. She glanced across at zane, tear filled eyes almost begging, "zane. No matter what she does, or how far she goes from you, don't ever let anger be the reason that you wish to protect Natasha. We are taught to hate and be angry, but for all of us, it is easier to love. because love comes naturally."

I wandered the woods, alone. My loneliness meant nothing to me. In the distance, if I squinted, I could just make out a few wolves - It appeared they were heading to the pack grounds. I had been meaning to join that pack for a while, but couldn't as yet work up the courage. I was still sore from the happenings at my old pack, from which I am now exiled. I looked down at the still pink scar that decorated my right flank. But I couldn't just sit idle. Moving from my perch upon some boulders I jumped gracefully down to the forest floor. The dirt was like soot beneath my claws, while the wind made my fur dance. I scented the air as I closed my eyes, focusing on my two strongest senses, smell and hearing. For I wished to locate the Alpha. But I was rather irritated to note I couldn't sense her in my immediate vicinity. I used my impatience to give me courage as I loped through the trees. I was searching for a pack wolf of some kind, so I could enquire on their Alpha's whereabouts.

This morning the woods did not hold their usual charm, so I skipped out on shifting. I'd partied hard at an old friends house last night, and my hangover was still in full swing. Gritting my teeth I massaged my temples as I walked from his house's driveway. It was only a short jog back to the cabin anyway, and there I could pick up some painkillers. Coughing quietly in the biting chill of a spring morning, I wondered what members of my new pack I would encounter. Of course I had only recently joined... So I didn't really know many people. But that was mostly due to how I kept to myself a lot. I began to jog, the sound of my converse hitting the pavement resounding slightly, as my dog-tags jumped in my shirt.

Vince found another grin spreading across his features as she continued to speak. “It's Vincent mademoiselle.” He recalled she was the girl who he'd met at the restaurant when he had been trying to talk to the loner, Zachk, was his name if he remembered correctly from the conversations he'd overheard. The male had thought at the time she'd seemed quite uneasy in their presence, which he couldn't blame her for. It seemed she had the right idea about them seeing as how the night ended. But, maybe it wouldn't be completely unsalvageable. Heck, he had a lovely lady in his arms. Then again she'd probably completely forget about him in the morning. “Nice to meet you.” He said glancing down as he spoke. “Won't be much longer now.” Vincent stated, noticing how tired Noelle was becoming.

"Vincent? I'm gonna call you Prince Vinny." Noelle declared in a tired voice. She was having trouble staying awake to speak to the loner. "Huh? Where are you taking me?" She questioned, shifting a bit in his arms. She rested her tired gaze on the cabin that was coming into view. The werewolf thought it would be best to sleep then talk to Prince Vinny some other time. Even though she wanted to continue speaking, she may end up drifting asleep. Though, she couldn't help but pout slightly at the thought of leaving her prince charming. "Awwh you're taking me back to my castle?" She questioned, turning her gaze back to Vincent. Due to her being in such a drunken state, it wouldn't be surprising if she forgot about this encounter. She might be able to remember bits and pieces, of course. Probably not the entire conversation, but that someone carried her back to the cabin.

Thomas nodded, seeming relieved to hear that Skylar was alright. He gave a chuckle when Skylar called his brownies a hit. He didn't make them from scratch so he couldn't take much pride in them. Anyone could make brownies that came from a box. Though, he would one day have to make them from scratch. He knew a great recipe for brownies too. He lifted his brows as he listened to Gwen's comment, amused by her accent and her words. "Want me to be cocky then? I don't see what's wrong with using rather." He mused, pausing when the girl began to choke. Thankfully, she managed not to choke completely on the delicious brownie.

After sitting there for a few moments, Skylar began to think about Felix. Did he even have a place to stay? From what she'd seen earlier, the hotel manager had been very angry with him. Had he paid the bills? She knew she had to make sure if he was okay, and give him a proper goodbye. How long would he even stick around the town? She rose to her feet and said to the two,"I think I'm going to get some fresh air. It was nice talking to you." She smiled and then headed out the porch and to the woods. She followed the dark road, her surroundings lit with fireflies and moonlight. By the lake, she saw a shadowy figure that she instantly knew to be Felix. "Hey, Felix!" she shouted, and jogged up to him. She felt a blush coming on, and was very glad the darkness masked it. "I-uh," she stammered, searching for words. She felt so stupid now, chasing down after him. Felix was probably glad to loose her, and she hoped she wasn't a bother. "I just was wondering if you had a place to stay? Also, I just wanted to say goodbye. Will I see you again?" she asked hopefully. He was very cute, but she loved his personality even more.

Her hysterical laughter was one of the sweetest things Judd had ever heard. He joined in, and wrapped his arms tighter around her. "I'm sure you do," he murmured. He grinned and said,"I'd give you the one I have now, but it's got beer all over it." He could tell how flirtatious her last sentence was, and could feel his heart speed up in response. She leaned into him, and commented on what a good pillow he was. Judd chuckled,"I' glad I'm good for one thing." He continued to play with her hair, and she seemed relaxed and hypnotized by this. She groggily asked if he still wanted one of her shirts. Sure, he still did, but at the same time, he didn't want to ruin the moment. So, he left the choice open to her. "Whatever you want," he murmured. She was so beautiful, and he hoped her feelings wouldn't change by morning. If she acted like Shiloh did, and went out with someone else, he'd never forgive himself.

Vince didn't mind his new nickname, Prince Vinny, it had a nice ring to it. A smile tugged at the corner of his lip, “Prince Vinny 'ey? “ He could tell she was beginning to get more and more out of it, not just by her voice but also by the way her eye lids seemed to be struggling to stay up. “Where all your faithful subjects are worried sick about you, I'm sure, princess.” Vince nodded, taking on a playfully serious tone as he spoke. He found himself enjoying her company more than he'd anticipated. She was quite charming. Adjusting Noelle in his arms he made his way up the front steps of the cabin, the boards creaking under foot. He wasn't sure if he should drop her off at the door, being as he hadn't seen her walk that night. Vince paused, gazing down at the girl in his arms. He wanted to be sure she'd be able to make it to her room without incident, the last thing he'd want to happen to her would be for her to end up getting hurt. It wasn't that she doubted her capabilities as a person, it was just that he'd had some bad experiences when it came to alcohol in the past. That was only part of the reason he was hesitating to put her down. Vince simply didn't want to let her go, he wanted to spend as much time with her as he could, to continue on this light banter and playful conversation. The thought of parting ways caused him to feel rather down. “Are you going to be okay from here m'lady?” He could smell the freshly baked brownies from outside, a scent that made his stomach threaten to grumble. Usually he wasn't one for sweets, but brownies were a different story. Not to mention these ones' in particular smelled delicious.

Felix found himself wandering back towards the lakes shore. It had gotten dark and the moon had made its way into the sky, giving the area a whole new appearance. The place was quite relaxing and beautiful when there weren't a bunch of drunken werewolves trying to duke it out. He grinned slightly at the memory of the two women fighting over some guy. That guy's going to have his hands full with that one. He had nothing against spirited girls however, don't get him wrong, he just found the whole situation to be quite amusing. The sound of approaching foot steps alerted him of someones' presence. They were most likely coming down the path from the cabin judging by their apparent origin. Turning to meet them he was pleasantly surprised to see it was Skylar. “What's up Skylar.” He greeted, allowing a genuine smile to form on his lips. Felix waited quietly as she seemed to be searching for her voice, his eyes meeting hers' in the pale moonlight. Both of them seemed to be shadows in the night the only light source coming from the moon and the occasional passing firefly. His eyes had begun to adjust fairly well to the dim lighting being aided by his wolf. As Skylar mentioned having a place to stay he was reminded of the encounter he'd had with the motel manager and wondered if they really did still have a place to stay. They should since he'd paid for the room in the end. “Yeah, we've got a place to stay. “ He guess she'd already guess where being as they'd met in the hotels parking lot. It was sweet of her to worry, not to mention want to say god-bye. He didn't think he'd be leaving the lake anytime soon however and didn't want to say it until they did end up parting ways. ”I'll be around, we're not planning on going anywhere anytime soon.” Felix responded, raising a hand to rub the back of his neck. “We've got to make some money and stuff you know.” He grinned, his eyes glinting with laughter in the moonlight.
