Hi!

I'm having problems with Oekaki itself (aside from tablet-related complications. >.>).

I haven't used Oekaki in a while, due to my tablet always glitching. It's been the first time I've used it in about two months. After working for a while on a drawing, I went to save it, and found that I couldn't click "Save Oekaki" at all!

I hovered my mouse over 'File,' and it led to the dropdown to save. However, when I clicked on it, the option didn't get highlighted in blue, nor did it do anything whatsoever.

I've installed JTablet, which warned me that it may crash. After uninstalling it, Oekaki still wouldn't save.

Has anyone had this problem before?

Hello there! I'm Wanda, a teen girl on CS who loves to draw, chat, play sports, read, and is a complete music dork. I'm quite shy so please keep that in mind when chatting to me, but feel free to ask me questions! It helps to talk. I no longer draw on CS, but my DA is filled with my art from an app on my iPad. Anyway, that's it! I hope you have an amazing because you deserve it and I love you c:

I don't know where to post this but: an image in oekaki I made awhile back is no longer working? I no longer have a computer so I can't edit it and mess around with it to see what is wrong. Who do I contact about this?

It says it's an unassigned extension, and when I use the applet on the JTablet website, it says the error: "could not initialize tablet" It also says the plug-in couldn't be loaded.

Does the pen pressure work in other programs? If not, you may want to update your drivers first.

Read the first page.

Can you try to clear your cache or possible reinstall Java?

Borrow a friend's computer, go to edit and drawing and save it again, that should show it again.

To everyone else:
I do not have answers right now. I have not come across any of your issues recently for me to offer you a solution right now.
If nothing seems to work, please uninstall Java using JavaRa (a specially designed Java tool that completely removes all traces), and then reinstall Java. This is the best way to get a clean install and to avoid any issues. Here's the JavaRa link:
http://singularlabs.com/software/javara/

Furthermore, I do not appreciate anyone PMing me about these issues when you also posted on the thread. It's quite rude. I am only one person and I have other things to do besides CS. It would be very kind if you could no longer PM me about issues. Post them on the thread or send in a help ticket if you must.

Someone might have already said this, but if your Oekaki is frozen or not responding and you have JTablet on a computer running Mavericks, in order to get the Oekaki to work again you will have to uninstall JTablet. You won't have pen pressure, and I currently don't know any other way to get the pen pressure.

My computer , a Mac , won't work on Oekaki.
I tried using Safari , since chrome can't support the newest Java
And this happened
Image
When I leave , it asks if I want to save my drawing , when there is nothing to save.
It just stays that green screen.
My Java is enabled in the settings , but it doesn't look like it is.
Any solutions?

sadly simon's and my cases were not the same , but ty for your input though simon

I have a mac and use safari as well.

I get this screen but you have to wait a little while before you can begin to draw.

maybe even up to a minute or two.

try again but wait a bit longer.

if that doesn't work then I'm not sure what is wrong.

I hope this helps.
