Heatherpaw backed away slightly. "Lionpaw?" She mewed, seeing the young black cat.

The young black cat frowned, tears at his eyes. "Why won't he wake up?"

Heatherpaw stepped back a little farther and looked from Lionpaw to Pixelstar. "I think we should go..." She mewed quietly.

Lionpaw trotted over to the younger tom. "But we can't leave him here! He's only a kit!" He protested.

"It's Crow's offspring..." Pixelstar growled, unsheathing her claws and she stalked at the kit.

Heatherpaw looked at the black tom sympathetically. "What is your name?" She called to the cat. She reluctantly followed Lionpaw.

"Bird." The young black tom replied, licking his one white paw. And he widened his amber eyes.

Heatherpaw's silver eyes narrowed in thought. "Where is your mother?" She asked, stepping forward slightly.

"Queen? Oh.. My mother is dead. She was killed by a cat named Raptor." He meowed sadly.

Heatherpaw's tail flicked back and forth. "Queen? Never heard of her." She mewed softly.
