Auction Rant Thread

I hate it when you have a great pet for auction, and nobody notices your auction. Like this week I was auctioning a grinner. Its been 2 weeks and not a single bid (except a coppa'd bid)

My auction rant is about those auctions where it has no end date and you bid but don't really get feed back.

I can't keep my pets for your auction indefinitely. I'd like to know if I have a chance. Or, are you not interested in what I offered? Do I need to add pets?

I feel like those unending auctions are really people looking for a particular trade, instead of it being an auction.

I hate to be one of those people that withdraws from auctions, but if no one else offers on your pet & the auction just keeps going on & on, I'm going to try to find somone else to trade me the pet I'm looking for.

I feel better now that I got that out of my system.

I like make a group up to offer, and a month later i've heard nothing, and know that most of the pets in the group I could have already traded off.... but instead they have been sitting in a separate group collecting dust :\

I HATE it when people 'auto cancel' and then dont write back when you ask if they are still interested. and when people withdraw/backout just a few days before it ends... >.<

I hate when your about to win an auction, about all wrapped up, they say your winning, then they cancel for no reason, with no feedback why they cancelled

I hate it when:

• When somebody bids the same pet in a ton of auctions. What happens if they win more than 1?
  
• When people get snobby about winning and get POed when you add more to get ahead >_>
  
• When someone bids then withdraws even if they're winning
  
• Auction owners who can't decide what the heck they want, and end up putting stuff in for "interests" and they get huffy when you offer aforementioned interest >_>

Anything else I missed?

Someone bid a pet I really really wanted and they were pretty much winning, but i HAD said that my auction ends Halloween...and i told them they were in first/2nd place, but probably first and then they withdraw. *facepalm* and then all other 'good' offers were 'auto-canceled' and i havent heard back from them.... *headdesk really hard*

I hate trading with them, they are so agitating!

I placed a bid on their Black Advent using my Target Dog.

They said: "You need to add more!"
I said: "The Black Advent is only worth a common September, which the Target Dog is. Over offering would be silly."
Their response: "It's an auction! T.T"

My response: /Bangs head repeatedly on keyboard./

Then: "Just because it's an auction doesn't mean that I have to over-pay. The point of having an auction is to have a group of people offer on one item, not to get more than it's worth. If you don't like my bid you can reject it, I'll just go find someone else to trade my Target Dog with. :3"

They finally responded with: "u guys are spamming my thread *starting new thread*"

Not even going to bother bidding again. ._.'

What the heck is an "auto-cancel"? How can people even do that? Trade the pet they were auctioning? I mean, if an auto-win is when they get specific pets that they want....what.....people who do that confuse me XD Why not just cancel. What the heck is an auto cancel

I was in that same auction they blacklisted me because I didn't want over offer either and I cancelled my bid
I honestly don't care but just wow...
