"That would be nice..." He got up and trotted over to the freshkill pile. Grabbing a squirrel, he brought it over to Koitail, setting it down a few tail lengths away from her. "Maguc powers...go!" He yowls, sliding the squirrel over to Koitail, "See?" He purred, sitting down.

Koitail laughed,"well I have magical powers too! Watch, I'll make this squirrel 'disappear'!" She took a bite out of it.

Embershade thought for a moment, grinning, "They say..." He paused, before making ho's voice go higher. "Eek! What are you doing here! This is my tree! My acorns! Leave ne alone!" He laughed, "Or maybe that was chipmunks"

Sheepbelly nodded, licking the wound. "Ok" He went deeper into his den, reappearing with leaves. He chewed them up and applied the poultice to Honeypaw's scatch. "Keep your paw in the air, let the poultice soak into the cut. Come see me if it gets infected, or if it isn't healing. And watch where you walk" He chuckled.

Honeypaw gave him a shy smile with a nod and limped carefully out of his den watching closely to where she placed her paws. Alone again she sat down towards the edge of the clearing and felt the afternoon sun on her pelt.


Briarstar padded out of her den looking around for Hawkwing, she hadn't realized he left a while ago. With a glance at Koitail and Embershade she slowly came to realize that her brother was off on his own again.


Hawkwing was stalking a squirrel when one of the back paws stepped on a leaf. Instantly the squirrel darted up the tree to where the warrior wasn't going to be able to get it, "Fox-dung!" He spat at himself as he moved along. Reaching the beach he signed, then sat down on the hot sand.

Embershade laughed, "Let me assist you, master of magic" He bit into the squirrel, licking his lips, "I think I have powers that allow me to pick pretty delicious prey!" he purred.

Sheepbelly watched the apprentice leave before glancing at his messy storage, that was far from being finished. He grumbled to himself, deciding not to do it now. The Tom let his paws lead him right outside his den. Flopping onto his side, he soaked up the sun, quickly drifting off to dream...

"I agree!" Koitail merrowed, taking another bite. "You should do them more often!"

Embershade nodded, eating more. "That would be good, that way I won't get maggots in my prey" He took a few more bites, nudging the rest towards her. "Here I'm full, eat the rest"

[Olivesaurus]

"I'll make sure that won't happen with you around!" Koitail smiled, finishing the prey. She rolled onto her back, letting the sun warm her white belly. "Thank you." She purred.

"No problem" He grumbled, batting at her belly with his paws. "Ik going to go join my brother and nap, see you later" Getting up, the russet Tom entered the warrior's den and climbed into his nest, laying his head on his brother's back as he fell asleep...

Koitail meowed,"sleep well." She closed her eyes, bathing in the sun for a bit. But soon she was back away, and she let out a ruffled sigh. Looks like sleeping wasn't her thing today, either. The she-cat slid out of camp to go on a walk and hunt.
