Lilacpaw padded through the forest, looking around in fascination, barely paying attention. She crouched down as she saw a large bird high above her flying in the sky. She smiled and jumped up in the air clumsily, acting like she was catching the bird. She landed awkwardly on the ground. Proud of herself for 'almost' catching the bird.

Featherpaw slowly wandered around the edge of the camp, inside it of course. His small nose to the ground and his rump in the air, bushy tail waving slowly. His eyes were closed, he figured it wouldn't matter if they were open anyway. And he thought that this helped him concentrate.

Echofall padded through camp to see Featherpaw on the ground. "What have you done?" He asked, holding back a smile.

Featherpaw jumped slightly, his eyes blinking open, but still in the same position he was in. He slowly lowered his hind half onto the ground so that he was laying awkwardly. "Nothing.." He replied.

Echofall helped him up.

Featherpaw growled quietly. "I was quite comfortable on the ground.." He mewed softly.

"How about you lay down in the apprentice den." Echofall told him.

Featherpaw smirked. "Why? I was comfortable out here."

"You'd rather lay in short grass than on soft moss? Do what you want. Don't complain if your back gets sore." Echofall mewed, flicking his tail and padding away.
