Luke chuckled lightly, surprised that Alta hadn't noticed his accent. "I'm from Sydney. We moved here when I was eight, don't know why." He stood up as he finished putting on his shoes and smiled at her, pulling on his lip ring with his teeth. "Care to join me at the summer festival?" He asked her. He had nothing better to do.

Alice sighed as she finished changing. She'd picked out a white summer dress and a flower crown, hoping that she wasn't too dressy for whatever her and Alex would be doing. She quickly reapplied her eyeliner and some mascara before putting on a pair of high-top Converse and fixing her hair a little. Upon opening the door, she saw Alex standing there awkwardly. "Sorry, I took a long time didn't I?"

"I knew you were from some part of Australia," Alta commented with a smile. She honestly loved Australian accents. "Sure!" she answered, a bit surprised that he would ask her. After all, they had only known each other for a few minutes.

Alex's gaze switched from the floor to Alice as she opened the door. His eyes studied her new outfit, which he thought she looked beautiful in. He smiled at her and mouthed a "it's fine." His hands slid into his pockets as he thought about what happened early, the kiss, Alice fainting, he was confused by it.

Luke smiled. "Cool." He said, starting to walk off the pier with his skateboard in his hands. He didn't want to ride it; it would be rude since Alta had to walk. "So... what are you into?" He asked, wanting to get to know her better.

Suddenly, Alice felt a bit uncomfortable. She looked Alex in the eyes as her smile softened. "Hey." She said, putting her hand lightly on his shoulder. "I know this day has been pretty... interesting." She said, trying not to laugh. "But I just wanted to let you know that I really like you, and I'm sorry for all of the weird things that have happened." She bit her lip, waiting for a response.

"Well," Alta started with a soft laugh. "I play the violin, and I've been told I'm one of the best in town. I play classical, hip-hop, dub step, whatever genre of music you can think of," she smiled and looked up at him. "What about you?"

Alex looked at her as she lightly put her hand on his shoulder and started speaking. His eyes shown the confusion he had earlier. He smiled as she finished talking. He kissed her on the forehead and walked down the hallway, stopping at the end to wait for her.

Danielle - "Hm," I nodded, "I see..." My thoughts began to wander as I spoke - he seemed interesting, I suppose. "Are you going to the summer festival?" I suddenly asked him, though I wasn't quite sure why. Usually, I'd end the conversation there. I quickly shrugged the thought off.

Luke laughed. "That's pretty awesome. Oh, I play guitar and sing a little. Nothing as cool as being able to play dubstep on a freaking violin." He said, poking Alta's nose.

Alice blushed as Alex kissed her and followed him down the hallway. As they entered the kitchen, Alice turned to her mom. "Saremo a casa prima che troppo tardi." She said, telling her that she would be home before too late. "Non si preoccupi. Divertiti." (Don't worry about it. Have a good time.) She said, smiling. Alice looked at Alex with a grin as she walked into the garage grabbing her penny board. "Where to?"

"Mhm," Nate answered. "Are you?" he asked.

Alta smiled and laughed softly, raising an everyone as he poked her nose. "Well, I think singing's pretty cool," she said brightly.

Alex hesitated before pulling out his phone and typing something. He turned it to her with a smile, it read: 'How 'bout the cafe? I'm hungry.'

Luke shrugged. "I guess so..." He said. "Hey look, we're at the festival." He pointed and smiled. "Ready for lame rides, expensive food, and rigged games?" Luke laughed, pulling his lip ring with his teeth.

Alice nodded at Alex's idea. "Sounds great. I didn't even eat breakfast today." Another reason I fainted. She realized, sighing. She mounted her penny board and began riding it, looking back every few seconds to make sure that Alex was behind her.
