Embershade chuckled, "Ashblaze... He is such an awkward caterpillar" He let out a purr. "He is bot one for conversations, unless with me" He shrugged, "But I can talk to anyone! Even squirrels! You wait amd see!" He chirped.

"What do the squirrels say?" Koitail asked, her whiskers twitching with amusement.

Sheepbelly shuffled through the bundles of leaves with experience and skill, not even looking up as Honeypaw entered. "Back so soon Softp-" He stopped as he noticed that it was Honeypaw instead. He looked towards her, glancing at her paw. "What happened?" He asked, moving over to examine it.

Honeypaw shook her head at him, "I don't know." She replied flatly as she held her paw out for him to look at it, "Must have cut it on a rock or something. I didn't even feel it till I tried walking on it." After explaining she stayed silent as he worked.

Embershade thought for a moment, grinning, "They say..." He paused, before making ho's voice go higher. "Eek! What are you doing here! This is my tree! My acorns! Leave ne alone!" He laughed, "Or maybe that was chipmunks"

Sheepbelly nodded, licking the wound. "Ok" He went deeper into his den, reappearing with leaves. He chewed them up and applied the poultice to Honeypaw's scatch. "Keep your paw in the air, let the poultice soak into the cut. Come see me if it gets infected, or if it isn't healing. And watch where you walk" He chuckled.

Koitail laughed,"have you ever tried talking to fish? They're so quiet!"

The russet Tom purred, "I have tried, bit they don't like to talk, do you speak animal too?" He asked curiously, amusement filling his amber gaze as he looked at the she cat.

"No, but I don't hear them chattering like squirrels or singing like birds!" Koitail laughed. If she had a tail, it would've been flicking back and forth.

Embershade laughed, his low voice bouncing with each laugh. "Maybe I have special powers perhaps?" He joked happily.(wb)
