My nerite seemed to like blanched veggies more than the algae wafers (big plus for me too bc algae wafers I had were so messy >_>)

I couldn't get betta food (Tetra something, I forgot xD) so now my two boys are eating crushed Tetra Gold Japan. It's technically my fancy goldfish food, but they seem to like it. Is it alright? Or do I have to find something else to feed them? I have dried chicken currently in store, and I could always get shrimp or bits of fish.

Hi, I got a new guppy and I've had problems about naming him ^^ he's male and quite small, here's some pictures ^^
P.s I know my tanks dirty and I'm just about to clean it don't worry :3



The pictures are a bit blurry but I need some help naming so any suggestions? I was thinking something related to fire or some type of element because he's got a lot of red on him ^-^

I'm so happy ^^ I just rescued a Betta from a nearby pet store. It was living in a tiny jar that resembled a living swamp (I kid you not) and was in extremely (like freezing) water. I felt so sad that I had to but it.
Here's some pictures of my new Betta, name suggestions welcome!





He's a half moon.... I think? He cost me £12.00. /shot
He is currently still in the bag (I just got home), but has his 2 gallon tank set up in my special tropical room, which is so hot room temperature wise, that the tanks don't need heaters.

And I'm pretty sure he's just managed to escape dying.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Type of fish that you have: south american cichlids and African cichlids
in the south american tank:
2 albino cory cats
one pleco
1 oscar
1 blood red parrot fish

In the african tank
im not quite sure..... i have 3 fish though
Your fish's names: in south american tank: oscar= creamsicle parrot fish= peach bottom feeder= dont have names
african tank: pale, Angela, and Ugly (hes named after the ugly duckling he supposed to change color)
How long have you had fish: south american tank: since November 2013, african: since april-may (because they kept killing each other)
