Spiritkit crept forward slowly unsure if this was a trap. For a kit that was an entire moon older she was not much bigger than the new born kits. Her pelt was dirty and matted and her wings were tucked close.

She gently and motherly licked the top of spiritkits head

Spiritkit started nursing hungrily this was her first meal in days.

She smiled down at the kit and started to groom her fur cleaning it

Spiritkit slowly began purring. Her eyes slowly began to close.
