Wingsong looked down at Spiritkit. Her eyes clouded with emotion as the kit spoke. To lose your mother like that... She thought, It would just be awful. "Well Spiritkit, we have plenty of room here in DesertClan if you'd like to stay."

"R-really?" The tiny kit folded her wings to her back looking up at her.

Wingsong nodded. "Sure!" She purred. "As you can see, winged cats are just as welcome here as every other cat." She meowed, referring to her own spotted wings.

She purred nodding she pressed close to the deputy. She was skin and bones. She looked up at her with golden eyes.

Wingsong could feel Spiritkit's ribs as the kit pressed against her. "Have you ever tried mouse before, Spiritkit?" Wingsong asked.
