The she cat wandered, her hunger pains in her belly were so strong she had to lay down. It made her sides cramp up. She needed to rest anyway. She had little strength, but managed to summon a small, leafy sapling to give her and her nephew the shade they needed.

Male-Loner-5 moons old

He followed after hus aunt very slowly. His mouth open the whole time. He slumped to the ground, savoring the cool shade that covered them. Stone sniffed around the small tree to see if Willow had summoned water. Not this time...he sat back down and lowered his head.

she scented some loner's nearby. She decided to check it out, they could be dangerous. "Wo are you?" she asked when she got to the two loners.

Willow opened her eyes and looked at the cat with warm eyes. "I"m Willow...and this is, Stone." she managed to meow. She slowly closed her eyes again and rested her head on her paws.

He jumped at the sound of another cat. He leaped behind Willow and then lifted his head slowly. His ears, and eyes showing.

"Why are you on DesertClan territory?" I asked my gently this time. The cats seemed exhuasted, and the heat wasn't helping. The she cat seemed to be on the edge of unconciousness.

Wingsong approached the kit, apparently named Spiritkit, and sat down beside her. "Hi there, Spiritkit. What brings you to DesertClan?"

Lionpaw jumped when Spiritkit showed up so suddenly, but he realized it was just a tiny kit and relaxed.

"I'm sorry I didn't know... it was just hot and mommy didn't wake up..." She trembled with fear.

Willow didn't bother to open her eyes, she was tired, hot, and just wanted some shade. Her ears stood straight, sweat dripped off of her whiskers.

Stone lifted his head more, his whole face now showing. "We needed to find a place to stay..." the, now brave, kit mewed. He struggled to lock his gaze with the older she cats but managed to do so.
