I want to be able to buy Minecraft on it, but I wanted to make sure I get a device that works good with MC. I know some computers (and especially laptops) don't work well with Minecraft.
Do you guys have any suggestions as to which computers or laptops work best with Minecraft? I know it's a bad idea to get a mini laptop, but are there any other major problems with different computers and MC?

Whats your budget? I can give you a good recommendation based on that, but I dont think Minecraft works on chromebooks

I'd prefer not to spend more than 500 USD on a computer or laptop but can pay more if needed, especially if the device is very high-quality.

I play MC on a Note/Netbook, it plays pretty well. I think one of the most important things is how much RAM it has. Like, my laptop has 6 GB and my friend's has 2, his isn't even a Notebook and his Minecraft lags so badly. So you could potentially get a Notebook and be okay. Then again, if your budget is pretty high, AlienWare.

I bought my laptop for just over $500 (like, $520 or so?) and it runs Minecraft perfectly! My old computer barely got 5 fps on the lowest graphics on MC, this one can play it at highest settings and the render distance 10 chunks or probably a little higher at a steady 30-40 fps, no lag whatsoever on single player. Also great with other games- I can run Assassin's Creed Brotherhood at almost highest graphic setting and still get no lag.

It's an version of the Acer Aspire. I'd recommend it! I abuse my poor thing with tons of programs open and doing things like recording games or whatnot yet it still powers through. There's a bunch of different versions for various prices with various specs, but all the pricing is reasonable for what you get out of it IMO.

I know how you feel mine would average out at 1- 7 fps. I found something that might be good for you
