Yo-Yo looked down, realizing she was having trouble recognizing him. "I-I'll just..." he stuttered, backing away slowly. His cheeks burned, Well that back fired. he thought, trying to trot away the awkwardness as he left. He passed a pony who looked like he was waiting for something. Then he continued on, turning and walking into the doughnut shop.

Mirth glanced at Yo-Yo, then returned her eyes to the sidewalk. She had a couple doughnuts in a brown paper bag, steaming hot. The reason why, of course was because she felt bad about the mix up at the BookShop.
She eventually found it again, she timidly walked up to the pony sitting out front and carefully put the bag at his hooves.
She drooped her ears and sat down on the warm pavement, "Sorry about the mix up earlier." she apologized, gesturing to the bag with her left hoof.
"I got you some doughnuts to mKe it up to you."
