i had the unfortunate and stupid idea to stay up late tonight
which normally wouldn't be a problem in the summer
but my sister is staying with us for two months and her children (3 boys ranging 2-7) all wake up around 7:30-8
in the morning, waking everyone but my sister up in the process. the two-year-old just screams all morning
and bangs doors and such. and i'm a light sleeper in the first place. this will be torture in the morning

and to make things oh so much better, i was really hoping to sleep in, as it's my birthday

Managed to burn my hand right before I was about to go to sleep. It's not all that bad thankfully, but now I'm gonna have to stay up with ice on it for like ten or fifteen minutes more. I'm already tired and grumpy -_-
