Seafarer Minks are creatures that have the body of a mink, ears of a rabbit, tail of a kangaroo rat and webbed toes like an otter. The minks can have three kinds of ears, bent, straight, or a combination of both. The ears are inherited from the parents always, as is the eye color. Each mink wears a bandana from when they're young. The baby minks, or kits, have one around their tail. The teens have one around their waist. The adults have one around their neck. The bandanas can come in any color and design.
A baby mink is called a kit. There are 1-2 kits in a litter, and if they are lucky, they may get three even. The ears are inherited from the parents, as well as the eye color. Design vary among kits and not every kit looks likes it's parents, meaning they may be born with different designs but similar colors. A kit is a mink anywhere from birth to 5 weeks old. A teen is from 5 weeks old to 9 weeks old, then it grows into an adult. Adults that just grew from a teen cannot breed. A mink can breed only at 11 weeks old.
Minks love to swim, meaning that most of their diet comes from seafood. They eat shellfish, small fish like minnows, crabs and other crustaceans, shrimp, and even sea plants at times. They are omnivores, having sharp canines in the front and a few incisors in the back. They can eat a third of their body weight in one meal. Mothers pick the meat from the shells and chew up the food before giving it to kits because their teeth are soft and undeveloped. They also drink their mothers milk.
Minks live near water, no matter what part of the world. They love to swim and are great at it. They can dive up to ten feet to gather food or just to relax, and can hold their breath for up to five minutes. Most live near the ocean in little homes they carve out of the rocks or trees nearly. Some live in caves and some prefer the open.

• You may not ask to be staff, you have to wait for applications or a contest.
• Guest artists are hired each month.
• Gifting Minks are not allowed without the owner, co-owner or mods' permission.
• Only staff can have customs, this includes mods and all.
• Artists may have up to 2 customs each. If you get rid of one, you may make another.
• Please no neon colors.
• Line edits are allowed, just no major mutations.
• You can make up to 2 at a time so you don't get stressed.
• Every 50 we make a special one, PM me to make one.
• If you are not able to be an artist, please tell me.
• You must make at least 5 a month.
• Guest artists can make up to 5 Minks or until 3 weeks are up.
• Guest artists can make 1 custom.
• You cannot be a guest artist twice in a row.
