Quasar looked around as Fela and Katido, with their riders on board, made their way around the farmhouse and alighted on the ground in front of the shed. Quasar beamed at them; he swivelled around and saw Binesi approaching, as well, since the great dragon was hard to miss; it only took them a few seconds to get there. Impatiently, Quasar stopped flapping and glided gently back down to the ground, touching down and digging his claws into the grass for a moment.
"Where are the others?" he asked the dragons, his eyes wide, shifting his weight from foot to foot, his arrow-tipped tail flicking around. "They're gonna like this news." He sent another burst of white fire up into the air, a bit higher this time, wondering what it took to get everyone's attention; did he have to set a tree aflame? He didn't know if even his white-hot flames would be able to light one of these damp trees after the past three days of rain. Quasar assumed that they were far away, but even if that was the case, he'd figured they would hear his cry, particularly the dragons.
His eyes danced as he looked around at all of those who had appeared; they'd all been waiting for this moment for many years. A few of them had probably guessed what was happening, although Quasar was finding it hard to read it in their expressions; he wondered briefly if the rest of them were as excited as he was about their departure. He brushed off the thought; they probably were. They'd been waiting for this, for some excitement, some danger, some adventure. He couldn't imagine anyone not feeling ready.

Alex held on easily as her dragon flapped the short distance to where Quasar was hovering and slid off his back before he had truly landed, by some miracle landing on her feet - Alex wasn't the most coordinated person out there. She gave a small smile and a wave to Hunter, who was sitting on the roof of the small shed for the sheep; she considered Hunter perhaps her closest friend among this group. "What's going on?" she asked; she noted to herself that it didn't seem to be a bad emergency, since Hunter seemed pretty composed despite Quasar's rather theatrical signal. That theory kept coming back up in her head again, so she thought-spoke to Katido: I think we might be leaving, Kat. Excitement filled her at the thought of this; all of the places they would see, and the things they would find there. Once again, her thoughts glossed over the fact that one of the things they would find wherever they went was an army, focusing merely on the good things.
