Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I should be able to because I love helping out others, and this is how I can. I know a lot about Chicken Smoothie by now from my over a year's experience, and will be able to answer questions about it.
How often do you get on CS?: I get on almost every day.
What categories would you like to apply for?: I'll would like to to apply for general knowledge, oekaki, forums, trading and pets, rarities, and role-playing.
How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?: Now that it's summer vacation, I can spend about 2 hours on Chicken Smoothie every day I go on, more than that on days I don't have anything else to do, and less on days I'm busy.
Role-play Example: Minty jumped onto the old wooden fence, moonlight shining on her silver tabby fur. The gold-colored bell on her red collar jingled from the movement, a sound breaking the silence. Her neighbor, Diamond, a she-cat with pure white fur, was also out tonight. Diamond walked over to her and asked,"Ever thought of seeing the clans?" Minty replied,"Aren't those only a legend?" Diamond responded,"What if they aren't a legend? What if the clans are real?" Minty said thoughtfully,"Maybe. Perhaps there are really clans in the forest." She looked over the forest, a black shape at this time of night, now seeming mysterious and exciting. Maybe such an unusual idea was real. She would only find out if she were to wander in, and maybe she would eventually.

What areas do you want explained?: I'm a total noob, geez. I don't know anything about the site besides the stuff I've found in the FAQ, so... I guess I'd just be really happy to have someone to answer most of my stupid questions. I really want to know more about rarities, trading, bb-codes and maybe roleplaying and oekaki, though.
Do you speak another language, and if so which one?: Yes, yes. My native language is German, but it doesn't matter to me if my future mentor speaks it or not. My English might sound strange sometimes, but I understand everything. u v u
How did you find Chicken Smoothie?: Uhm. I'm on a few other pet sites (FR, Aywas, etc.) and I've heard many people talking about CS, so I thought it's time to check it out as well!
What do you like best so far?: As for animals? The dogs. Definetely. Other than that... well. It seems like the people here are very friendly. And I like friendly people! ´u` ♥

So there are two things on CS: Demand and rarity.

To understand demand you must know what rarity is. Rarity is how much of that pet is on the site. You can see that for instance through the little bar underneath the pet that will say omg so common, very common, common, uncommon, rare, very rare, or omg so rare. You might also see unknown which means its rarity hasn't been determined yet (usually takes a month for new rarities to show up).

Demand is creatures that might be worth uncommon for instance but the amount of users that want the pet is greater than the supply. Therefore members are willing to pay more for the pet than the actual worth. There are many pets on CS that have demand and some members take demand in account while others are more choosey if they take demand. Some in demand pets: Shima Longtail is a '09 rare but members are willing to pay more than an '09 rare for it. Demand is something that can fluxuate a lot because in a matter of days for some pets the demand can decrease or increase. Also creatures have different demand. Usually rats and spiders have the least demand while dogs have the highest demand with cats being extremely close. Lions also have great demand.

The only pets that are not supposed to take demand into account are list pets which are pets that are already worth more than other pets on CS and are on three different lists: advent, September, and main. Main being the highest (like my galaxy dog in my signature) and lowest of the lists being the advent. Members still add demand to them even though they already take demand into account.
