Stormpelt nudged Sunstripe and Featherfall. "I'm sorry about your leader. Cliffstar seems like a good leader though," he mumbled.

"Hmmph, he's not as good as he sounds, but I guess that's to be expected of a cat who became leader a quarter-moon ago." Sunstripe muttered.

Featherfall nodded and replied in a quiet tone,"Yeah, Cliffstar was a new deputy and might need time getting used to leading, but he will make a good leader. Although, as advisor, I'd advise no speaking until after the leaders both finish."

Stormpelt purred lightly and kept watching.

Leafstar dipped her head and stepped foreword "I am sad to hear of Whitestar's death, he was a good leader. I, however, get to start with a happy note. Ivypetal is joining us today as a warrior." She paused to allow the cheering, then continued "I would also like to welcome our newest apprentice, Purplepaw." A cold breeze blew, ruffling her fur. Shivering, she finished a little quickly " Prey has been more frequent, and overall FrostClan is doing well." She stepped back, signaling she was done.

Featherfall cheered for the warrior and apprentice.

Lakesplash also cheered for Purplepaw and Ivypetal

Rockjaw cheered, too, but a bit quietly because of his nervousness.

He cheered for Ivypetal and Purplepaw. When he finished, he looked at Sunstripe and Featherfall. "I'm going, I want to talk to more cats. See you at the next Gathering, if you're going, of course," he mewed. He headed off to find Ivypetal.

Featherfall responded,"Of course I'll be there! After all, high and semi-high ranks always go."

Stormpelt flicked his ears to show he had heard. "Ivypetal! There you are! Congratulations," he mewed.
