Atlas glanced over at Brianna and shrugged lightly, "We finished a job and now I guess we're taking a break! Wow, you guys sure are friendly." It was strange, normally the customers in the tavern grew much more loose when they've had a drink or two, but these people were especially talkative. "What about yourself?"

"... Uhuh." Atlas turned away from the girl and took another swig of his drink. He wasn't in the mood for talking with strangers, especially if they give very little information. He didn't want to get dragged into something serious, so he simply turned away from her and ignored her.

Beck glanced up from his drink as it was handed to him, and he caught the eye of a Nord fellow who had invited him over to their table. It was a nice gesture, of course, so he trudged on over, drink in hand, sliding into the seat across from the two other men.
"Thankyou," He said, taking a long drink. "It's been a long day for me, I'm afraid." He swallowed the liquid in a large gulp, sitting the flagon down on the table momentarily.
"What brings you to Falkreath?" He was about to ask, but Brianna did so for him. He opened his mouth to say something, but quickly shut it.
Shifting in his seat, he had a pretty good inner way to tell if someone was lying. It came with years of dealing with rule breakers.
"I'm surprised your not out by Whiterun's plains, then." He tested her a little bit, to see what she'd do. Whiterun was the best place to hunt, given that the grasslands surrounding it were full of game. Falkreath, however.... "But Falkreath isn't very reliable. I assume you hunt for sport, then?" He raised a brow in question. Large animals were hard to shoot, and even more rare to find around these parts. People have learned the hard way that you can't live off hunting alone here.
It was more likely for hunters to hunt here for a challenge, rather than to live by it. So she was either ambitious for a hunter, or lying.

'Please help me.' The argonian mouthed to the man whom Falkner brought to their table. He cleared his throat and began to twiddle his thumbs, acting as if the woman he spoke to moments earlier never existed. He was on the verge of telling her to go away, but he had more manners than that... Even though he did look kind of rude already.
Atlas had no intention of talking to her, mostly due to the fact that he didn't want to. Her personality was a little... Brash, and it ticked him off to an extent.

Falkner quickly relinquished his hold on his ale, sitting back beside his apprentice and giving the man a warm grin. Everyone in these days were quite upbent and stressed, sticking close to their villages and not venturing out. Because of this he and Atlas didn't meet any friendly faces all that much - especially considering this specific tavern seemed to be filled a bunch of bad apples.
He was about to respond to the man's inquiry, with a bit of shadowing - they had hunted a beast that threatened the entire village, and that they were in the tavern for a pint after dealing with it, and the Jarl. However, he was interrupted by a...Khajiit, was it? Approaching the table and growling at his apprentice.
Catching the look Atlas sent Beck, Falkner chuckled deeply, sitting back in his seat and crossing his arms over his chest, simply watching the proceedings. This should be good.
