Mudstripe hurried over to the two, resting his tail-tip on the she-cat's shoulder, trying to comfort her with some effort. "The past is in the past. Remember who you have now. You have friends that adore you, and I'm sure you have toms waiting at your every need!" He chuckled playfully.

Mudstripe nudged Emberkit playfully. "Nothing, Young one." He purred. He didn't realize it, but he acted like a father even if it wasn't his kits. He shuffled his paws a bit, and glanced over at Desertsong. What is this feeling?.. What's happening to me?.. He thought to himself, shaking his head.
