Can locked flox be drawn happy with closed eyes? [I'm making tryout art]

Locked flox' eyes are closed, no matter what emotion they're expressing, the same goes for Catharsis Stage flox. The "blinking" you might observe from the images are an effect of their hovering up and down, where the eyes appear more closed after their heads tilt downwards.
The only time a floc opens its' eyes is after it has reached its' Awakened Stage. c:

I'm pretty sure they can move their eyelids depending on their expression, they're just not able to open them.
