Windstream grabbed a thrush from the fresh kill pile and ate where she always ate. No one was around her and it was quiet. She liked it.

Hawkwing shrugged a bit, supposing she was right that wasn't how he did things. Why should he let others in and then shut them out? By then they already know too much, "Yeah whatever. " He said just not wanting to talk about it anymore.

Koitail's ears flicked and she ate in silence for a few minutes. "Do you like it here?" She asked suddenly.

Hawkwing was shaken by her question, "What do you mean?" He asked swallowing his last bite of the sparrow as he looked at her.

"Do you enjoy living here? Does it make you happy to be in your territory? Knowing every single part of it?" Koitail asked, her eyes glowing.

Hawkwing sat up as she spoke the question still confusing him, "Of course. Tigerclan is my home and I wouldn't have it any other way. " He told her speaking with pride in his voice.

Koitail nodded. "I feel like this is my home, even if my heart used to lay in Lionclan." A deep purr rose in her voice. "But I wouldn't have it any other way."
