Amber shook her head, she had never fought titans for humanity. Humanity had always been cruel to her, she fought becuase it was fun. It was something she could do well and enjoyed doing. "Humanity is like a bunch of coal, only a few will ever be diamonds" she whispered, her teary eyes were dull. Her lids they grew heavy as she began to doze off into a steedy sleep.

"Coals or not, I have to believe in humanity, Amber. They'll never have the chance to change if I don't protect them." Auberon kissed the sleeping girl gently on the top of her head before allowing himself to succumb to the blackness of sleep.

Amber's grip on Auberon tightened as she began to have a nightmare. In amber's dream she was four again, she was surrounded by a group of kids slightly older then her. She pushed her to one another, "ewwww I dont want the crazy girl. You take her!!! Come on crazy dance" they laughed and teased at her. Then titans appeared and ate the children in front of her, blood rained on her. She looked for something to protect herself with and a huge butcher knife appeared in her hands. Then the titan picked her up and swallowed her whole. She began to panicked as she stabbed the insides with a knife to try to stop herself from falling in deeper. She then was her full age she looked down at the stomach below her and started screaming as she saw Auberon floating in the stomach fluid. Amber's eyes then flew open as she awoke quickly, she grabbed a knife out of her boot and threw it at the wall. As she did this she screamed titan at the top of her lungs, her pupils were small with fear and she panted heavily.

Auberon was jolted awake by the sudden movement, his upper body fully upright. Seeing Amber panting, he hugged her tight, one hand on the back of her head and the other rubbing her back. "Hey, hey. It's okay, it's okay. It's just a dream, Amber. There's no Titans anywhere."

Amber pushed away from Auberon and fell of the bed. She stood quickly in a defensive stance, she then turned slowly in circles. "Shut up, shut up, shut up!!!! Im not the crazy one, you rotten lumps of coals" she yelled she moved as if she was talking to a group of people fear still in her eyes, her pupils like the tiniest of dots. "I hear see and feel more then you ever could. I hear titans walking outside of those walls, I see your everyday fear. I feel very emotion you could ever think of. I see the particles in the air I can hear your hearts beats, I see this world's littlest details. I am a diamond, who will you all die and I live" she then laughed, "see im laughing now, I did it. I lived while you all died. So im happy right" she laughed/sobbed. She was now on the floor in a little ball as she laughed and sobbed making a truly insane sound.

Auberon lifted himself off the bed, falling to the floor almost instantly. Still, he made his way over to Amber, a determined look on his face. Grasping Amber by her shoulders, he shook her gently. "Listen to me, Amber. I'm the only one here. Look at me, Amber." Not getting any response, he took another route. If she wouldn't listen to his words, he would listen to his affection. Without hesitation, Auberon brought his lips to hers.

Amber's body froze when Auberon's lips touched hers. Her pupils slowly returned to normal and she close her eyes, her body relax as she kissed him back. When the kiss was over, she laid her face inbetween his shoulder and neck. She was quite for a few minutes, tears had made Auberon's shirt wet. "Im sorry" she whispered finally breaking the silence.

Auberon smiled, not caring that his shirt was wet. "It's okay. Things have been crazy as of late, so I don't blame you." Lifting Amber's chin up, Auberon brought his lips to hers once again.

Amber wrapped her arms around Auberon's neck and pulled herself closer to him as they kissed. She liked this feeling, she felt like they were one. That he wasn't going to leave her, someone finally was going to protect her and be at her side.
