The sun sets red in my wake,
Comets flare brightly as I shake
Stars from the sky
Where they fly down to you,

Without a way to be alive?

You're frozen in place, there's no way out,

Tell me, when the pain hits, who do you call?
Do you call her, that one you say is your all,

And think of how unfortunate you were

I can't deny that when we're together my heart sings

You're everything I need and the reason I'll die
In pain away from the sky.

I cry in pain when I see you with her
I know you want her but I can't be sure
Whether she's the one you belong with.

How long must this kill me and break my heart?
How long must I be torn apart?

How can you die when you cannot live?
How can you take when you have nothing to give?
How can you feel with no heart?
How can you move when you're torn apart?

How can you escape the prison of your mind?
How do you love another, only to find
That your love is misplaced, promises made null,
And your heart is so far away that your tears form a river full?

When do you stop and no longer stare
When the one you love can be found nowhere?
Where do you go when there's nowhere left
That memories can't return to make you feel bereft?

How much longer can you cry
Before you finally give up and die?
How much faith can you lose
In the one you once loved; how do you choose
Whether to go or stay
When you'll still be tortured anyway?

If chains held me to the ground
If emotion was the only sound
My heart would be a constant scream
An endless, bloodcurdling stream
Of pain and worry and love now lost.
Why did I never stop to consider the cost?

It was never worth the pain.
I had nothing to gain.
How much longer must I suffer
Watching you in the arms of another?

How much longer can I cry
Before all my tears finally run dry?
Take me away to where the sky meets the sea
Let me see the ships again and let me be

Please tell me it's all a dream, that I'm dreaming of hell.
Please tell me I don't care, as far as you can tell.
Please tell me I'm not feeling this way, I'll panic if you don't.

I'm afraid to feel, afraid to fall.
Sometimes I wish I couldn't feel at all.
You're pulling me in, I can't push you away.
I keep wanting to be with you all day.

You're all I think about and I can't stop.
You're the only one right now who can make my heart throb.
I would tear my own heart out if it would all go away.
I don't think I can stand this, not even for one more day.

I hope this is a dream, I hope nothing else is real.
I'd rather be alone than have to think or feel.
I don't want to live like this anymore,
I want to walk out and slam the door.

And yet I plant myself firmly in front of you,
And all I can think is that I hope you feel this way, too.
You have become my everything, my heart, my life,
To lose you would be to die.

I would do anything if I could just escape,
