Rapidstep had already slipped into camp with a mouse and a bird in his jaws. He put the prey onto the fresh kill pile and relaxed under a tree, watching everyone in camp.

Bearclaw yawned, peeking out of the warriors den. She trotted over to the prey pile, eyeing the dead bodies. She frowned, stepping away from it, suddenly not feeling so hungry.
