The government has there own encyclopedia, a special one. It has definitions, different than the public ones, based off their top secret research. prod·i·gy : a young person who is unusually talented in some way. That's the public definition, but in the government issue there is a difference. prod·i·gy : An unusually talented youth, who's talent leads to their secret. They know anyone who is too good at one thing, must have some sort of power. There is two ways to get into the "haven". Your parents get into an "accident", or they are deemed "unfit" to raise their child. Either way, they are eventually sent to this prison for being studied, disguised as a safety for young prodigies to learn. This prison is located near the Bermuda Triangle, secluded from the rest of the world. Only the government officials know of the actual exact location.
In this roleplay, you will be either a "social worker" really a government personnel who is studying the prodigies, or a teenager who is a prodigy with an extreme talent, some would say power. As an example, someone who is an amazing singer, could have a power related to singing, like mind controlling with her songs beauty. But please don't use singing, as someone is already claimed that power.
These are the rules, that everyone dreads.
1. You may have as many characters as you can handle, but please keep genders even.
2. You may not take a talent someone else has.
3. No parents know where the child is, unless the parent is in the government.
4. No gods or Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus (perfect characters).
5. No excessive out of character.
6. Please talk out of character in brackets .
7. No dating your own characters.
8. No killing someone's character without permission.
9. You may reserve a power and talent.
10. Because this is Semi-Lit must be at least 4+ sentences, you will not always have writers block.
I will add more rules if necessary, which lets hope we stay at 10 rules. They are simple, so obey them, and we won't have problems.
