Not used to flirting, Bluemask was not quick to respond. "Don't sell yourself short, you're nice too.", he purred.

"Thank you." Snowstorm replied, realizing she kind of liked Bluemask. "So, um, what's your favorite thing about living with a clan?" She asked softly.

"You", the words were out of his mouth before he could stop himself, and the tom looked down in embarrassment.

Snowstorm blushed. Turning her gaze down to her paws. "Th-thank you." She said quickly. "You've been the best thing since I came here." Now embarrassment flooded through her. "Anyways." She said, trying to quickly change the subject before either of them suffered any more embarrassment. "Is the river nearby?"

[ayomi]

Bluemask's heart lifted, but he was glad for the change in subject. "Just over here."

[The Silver Nekogami]

"Wow." Snowstorm said in awe. "This is much cleaner than the sea, so.. sparkly." She purred in delight. "I wonder if the fish are anything like the sea's... No matter, what do you want to do now? Or do you want to head back to camp?"

"You could try to catch a fish, maybe?", Bluemask said.

"Sure, why don't you give it a shot too?" Snowstorm said and kept her reflection off the water. She carefully watched for a fish, the moment one appeared, she struck quickly, scooping her claws through the water. "Got it!" She pulled the fish out of the water and dropped it on land, far enough from the water for it to not flop back in.

Bluemask tried to copy her, but stumbled, and fell into the water.

"Are you alright?!" Snowstorm called, diving in. "I'll get you!" She grabbed his scruff and dragged him ashore before the river pulled them very far. "Bluemask? Are you okay?" She said, scooting the fish she caught aside and dropped him on land.
