This is written through human perspective and is a true story!

You could say we were two completely different people. I was the A and B student in AP and Gate classes while he was the average saggin' pants guy who was probably forced to go to school. I was a loud, tom boyish Freshmen and he was a silent, keep-to-himself junior. Everything about us screamed opposite... but I guess you could say that opposites attract.

I was new to high school; I was the freshmeat of Roosevelt High. Great... Already I was stressed out about school and my classes. My original schedule put me in ballet. I mean really? I asked for tap, not ballet! So I got my classes fixed... but when was I getting my new schedule? Of course... that morning, only a few minutes before the bell rang. I sat down on a bench next to my Sophmore friend Monique as I figured out where my classes were. Ha.. of course. All across campus from each other! My day was starting out peachy...
"So what's it like?" Monique asked, looking around for her cousin, Annalyssa, who was a freshmen and one of my best friends.
"Horrible..." I grumbled, holding a map of the school out in front of me.
Just as Annalyssa and my other best friend, Danielle, showed up, the bell rang. I let out a sigh as I packed up my bag and waved at Monique as she walked away. Danielle and Annalyssa, though, had their first class together right next to mine.
As I reached my class, theatre, in the Little Theatre, we went our ways and I entered the theatre. Well... it had been named right; it was very tiny...
The last bell rang and my teacher, Mrs. Kock (coke), told us to grab some chairs (there were only big tables against the wall for our stuff, and no desks). We sat in a circle, and we started our first "game"; introducing outselves. It was a big class; me, some girls named Sandra, Alma, Elizabeth, etc., plus a few guys, including a guy named Thomas. I wasn't very interested in him at first; it's not like he was ugly or anything. He was just another guy in my class. I had a feeling it'd change though.
-Roughly a Month and a Half Later-
"Okay everyone. You're going to get paired up and then memorize a short scene to put it on in front of the class." Mrs. Koch announced to our class once the bell rang. Mrs. Koch began naming off pairs, going down the attendance sheet by last name. I felt my inner child laugh. That meant I was with Thomas. His last name started with a T, whatever it was, just like mine.
"...-Delia and Thomas-"
For once I had been right. So my whole class went off in pairs, working on the short scene that Mrs. Koch had given us.
I still didn't know Thomas all that well even though I had talked to him a couple of times. So we went through the lines given to us, easily memorizing them in no time. Once finished we sat there in a silence, and as he looked over to his friend Jose I glanced down at his arms. On both of his inner arms he had tattoos; one was some words, but the other... was hard to make out.
"Hey Thomas... what's that on your arm?" I asked him, reaching my right index finger out and lightly touching his right inner arm.
"Oh..." He mummbled, looking back to me as he held his arm out, "It's a phoenix."
I could finally see the picture clearly; it was a phoenix with his wings spread wide, and in the background was a sun and clouds. It wasn't colored, no. Just black and white... but it was beautiful. I was about to comment on how much I liked it when Mrs. Koch came over and gave us another paper that inlcuded the setting and characters. Apparently, we're in a resturaunt and character A (Thomas) wants to get to know character B (me) who doesn't want to be there.
After going through it a couple of times with our ideas, we went up on stage. The scene started, and we were nearing the end when Thomas said one of his lines: "So, what'd you do last night?"
As he was supposed to, he became the character; he leaned forward across the table between us, his eyes to expressive, I almost forgot my next line. "W-what do you mean?" I stuttered. We finished our scene, the whole time his eyes boring into mine.
-A Few Weeks Later-
Thomas hadn't shown up to school for the past week. Well.. I guess that did sound a bit stalkerish... but I knew where he'd be during lunch, and he didn't usually ditch first period.
On the Thursday before he disappeared, he had come to class looking... different. He wore long sleeves that covered his tattoos, his hair was cut shorter (not that it had been long before. It looked like a buzz cut now), and to top it off... he was wearing a watch; something I'd never seen him do.
Finally, I was so curious, I had to ask Jose what happened to him.
"Hey Jose... did Thomas drop the class?" I asked his as casually as I could during a free time in class.
"Drop the class? He dropped school."
That was the last time I'd seen or heard about Thomas.

I looked at the school house and sighed, a nother day of being laghed at, teassed,bullied and stared at. I picked up my bag and headed in.As soon as I walked in I felt many eyes stareing at me, so I just lowerd my head and stared at the ground as i walked to my first class, i stoped as i herd paw steps behind me, they stoped also, i started to wlak faster and i herd the paw steps again, i hurryed in to class and sat in my seat, when i looked up i saw a candy corn colored dog standing by the teacher "class, this is is.. um sonny what is your name?" the teacher asked "candy" the candy corncolored dog wisperd softlly "class this is candy, ....." the rest of the class busted up laghing and candy looked about ready to cry "i am going to pick some one to show him around" the teacher loooked around the class, i just looked at my books "hope!, you have the honor of leading candy arund and heling him, my head shot up at my name, laghing stoped, i herd the bell ring for lunch and i sighed and watche the class run out " come on candy" i mutterd as she headed out of class " why didnt you lagh at my name?" candy asked as he walked by me " becuase i know what its like to have odd names" i mutterd "your name is just hope, thats not odd" candy barked and i winced " no, thats my nickname, my real name is lost hope" i grwoled, my black eyes stareing ahead of me. "oh, well, i like that name" candu said nicelly " you dont have to be nice ya know, its best if you just stay away from me if you dont want to get hurt by the bullies, or your feelings hurt" i snaped before walked away "what are those scares from?" i herd candy ask and i wince " the bullies" i mutter before i walk off and strate in to a group of bullys....

"oh look!, it hope, or is it lost?" one the the bullys teased as they serounded me, oh greati thought, before i didnt spomething stipd " oh shut up!" i grwoled and punche dthe neerest bully, bad idea, the neer est bully grabed my already sore back leg and i bit back a yelp, if i yelped that would only make them happier and i wouldnt get away fast. i herd fait wispering and i glanced back and i seen candy standing on the other side of the path wispering, he looked stiff. i hoped he would run and leave me alone, but he didnt he looked up and narrowed his eyes "great candy!, now were both gona get it!"i thought, i hated seeing others get beat up so i usaly steped in and got beat up my self, i didnt care, i had no one to care for me, i lived it a dark cave, who lives in a dark cave around here? me. i looked away as i seen candy race over and i closed my eyes, but when i opened tgem the bullys were runnung away and candy was standing in the last place i saw him. i quicklly picked my books up and hurryed off with a limp, i looked back, candy was raceing after me "he!, hope!, wait up!' candy called, he reached me and i stoped "what do you want now?,you want to humillat me more even after to scared the bullies away?, wel do all you want, i dont care" i snaped before she stormed off in to a class, hours later and wlaked out and i bumpe din to one of the bullys, he turned and saw me and he grined, i herd paw steps and i looked behind me, candy was standing a few feet away looking depressed and sad. the bully seen him and ran, my thoughts started to race and wlaked over " how?" i asked
"how what?" candy asked as he looked up. " how did you make the bullys scared of you?" i snaped 'they have been scared of you since you beat them up when they were trying to hurt me" i grwoled "what are you talkig about?" candy asked, a little puzzled " fine then, dont tell me" i snaped and wlaked off, i had no idea that my day was about to get worse, much worse....

Swift and Midinight

Midnight carefully fluttered over a rooftop of a large house. It was tiring, but she made it. Carefully disappearing into the chimney and landing on some ashes, she looked around to see everything dark and silent.
How she liked it.
The outline on her body started to glow a pure white, she made her way slowly to the children's bedroom, padding slowly. She had to prevent him from coming, somehow.
The door screeched as it opened and the butterfly wolf sat on the side of a child's bed waiting for him.

It was haloween night and all he loved to do was to give nightmares.
She sang a low tune where dreams were weaved together. It was sweet.
Suddenly, she could hear and see a figure trying to barge into the house. Midnight quickly stood up bearing her teeth. The figure atlast made a hole in the window, scattering glass everywhere.
'Get out of here!' she whispered angrily and seriously.
He tilted his head for a long time.
'You know, what my job is and I have to do it,'
'I was here first, this night they will only think of dreams and good. Do you hear me?'

They green butterfly wolf was not prepared to listen to her. He lowered his head and started his song, howling quietly but awfully, the sound of a cat being stuck in a chimney made its way through the child's ears.
Midnight pounced on him as she saw the child moaned unhappily.
They fought for their right to create dreams, the fought for their song to be played.

As they fought, the midnight soon turned into a sunrise.
'We have to go now,' Swift brought up his head.
'Next time on a haloween night, I will be bringing my dreams and you will be scrubbing the floor you stinky cabbage! You ruined all my day today!'
Swift just grinned and answered.
The couple embraced eachother.
But carrying on arguing as they made their way out of this world.
