Owned by canis,┗━━━━━━━━━┛ WELCOME!
Why, hello there. I see you've stumbled across our little kennel. Well, I say little, but we are quite renowned among the dog world. You see, we own a very special breed. And you'd be lucky just to lay an eyes on one! They are a rare beauty indeed, my friend. We call them Kaluki. Well now, why don't we go see one, hm?
ABOUT THE KALUKI
The Kaluki breed originated in Africa. There, they were used as multipurpose hunting dogs for animals such as lion, gazelle, and antelope. They have a fierce protective instinct, as well as a tendency to be a bit stubborn. Though overall, they are very loyal companions with a high intelligence capacity and a wonderful temperament.
⇒ Kaluki males weigh from 120-140 pounds, while females weigh from 110-125 pounds
⇒ Kaluki males stand from 27-30 inches, while female stand from 23-26 inches
⇒ Kaluki markings include panthera, tigris, and jubatus
⇒ Kaluki markings may not always appear as they do on the above references. They may vary under each category
⇒ Kaluki may have pretty much any base coat as long as it is natural
⇒ Kaluki may only be bred three times
FAQ
How do I adopt a Kaluki?
Adoptable Kaluki will have a green dot on them. You can adopt a Kaluki by clicking on the dog's page and filling out the form. The artist will then choose a winner based on the form that best fits their criteria.
Can I have a custom Kaluki?
Custom Kaluki are extremely rare, so it is unlikely that you will get one.
Do I have to have a kennel name?
Since it really isn't that hard, I am requiring that you have a kennel name and kennel thread. Here and here are some examples of a kennel thread.
What is a show name? Call name?
A show name is a dog's full name, such as "High and Mighty." Show names are often accompanied by a kennel prefix, a prefix that is special to a certain kennel. My kennel
s (Vit Luna Kennel) prefix is VLK. So, the full show name would be "VLK's High and Mighty." Call names are often a single name, and the most commonly used. For examples, a dog's show name may be "VLK's High and Mighty" but the call name may just be "Titan."
