Cloudpaw bounced over to his still sleeping sister, prodding her with his paws.
"Wake up, sleepy head!" He called with a smile, only to receive a tired groan from the other apprentice. He frowned, prodding her again. "Oceanpaw, get up, get up!"
Receiving yet another groan, Cloudpaw frowned, wondering what he could do to get her up. "Well, we're supposed to go on the dawn patrol, so you have to. Lavenderdrop and Shallowrain are waiting!" He exclaimed, naming their mentors/
With a yawn, Oceanpaw grunted, stretching in her nest. Her deep blue eyes were tired, and she had obviously not gotten enough sleep last night. Cloudpaw noticed this easily. It was as if the two could read each others thoughts.
"Have you been having those dreams again?" He asked with a slight frown. He was a little concerned for his sister; she'd been having horrible nightmares that felt real, as she described it, not allowing her to get the sleep she needed. Not only that, but from what Oceanpaw explained, they were continuous and almost never ending.
"Yes," she nodded, her shy, quiet voice unmistakable, even though the sound of sleepiness drenched it heavily. "And they won't stop either...b-but I'm fine! I promise...I don't need a lot of sleep." She added the last bit to assure her worried brother, who slowly nodded, knowing there was no point in arguing with her. Oceanpaw was quiet, shy, and sweet, yes, but could also be very persuasive, persistent, and stubborn.
The two padded out into the clearing, ready for the patrol. Some other apprentices were going as well, and they thought they would go greet them.

The Silver tabby tom sheepishly stretched his white paws on his soft, comfy bed in his owners' den. He trotted over to his food bowl, licking up a few of the pellets, but stopped tired of the dry taste. He licked up some of the milk his twolegs had left for him, and purred at the warm taste, reminding him of his mother when he was young. He jumped through the Cat flap with a thud, hitting his head on the door above him. "Uh-gh.." He snorted, before bounding down the steps that lead to the twoleg's porch. He sniffed through his twolegs' garden before finding the catnip. Carefully, he ate a few of the leafs and leaped up onto the cobblestone fence, scanning the forest in front of him in acknowledgement.


Oakstar ~ Tom ~ 56 Moons ~ Leader
Oakstar woke up in his den, Widening his amber optics and stretching his white paws. He gave a couple of licks two his white, fluffy chest. He got up out of his nest and arched his back in a yawn, before padding into the clearing and watching his clan with happiness. He felt blessed to ever lead this clan. "Lavenderdrop!" He called to his deputy and flicked his ears.


Briarfall ~ She-cat ~ 36 Moons ~ Med. Cat
Briarfall sat in the medicine cat den, the sun shining on her Beautiful brown-and-white pelt as she sorted her herb stock carefully. Her eyes were peeled for anything missing, but spotted nothing. Everything was in tact, nothing missing. Even the honey that the kits usually stole was on the top of the stock still. She sighed in relief, and closed her eyes in happiness, thanking starclan that everything was there.

Lionkit rolled over onto his back, looking up at the bramble-covered den above him. "It's so boring in here!" He huffed, turning on his side to look at his sister. "Wake up, Blossomkit." He snorted, shoving her with a paw.

Blossomkit growled playfully as Lionkit woke her up and she nipped his paw gently. "I'm going to get you now!" She teased, huffing and puffing out her chest to look like a tiger. "Tiger versus Lion!" She meowed, crouching down.


Sootpaw ~ Tom ~ 8 Moons ~ Apprentice
Sootpaw rolled everywhere in her nest in the apprentices den, kicking the other apprentices in her sleep. Right now, all he wanted to do was eat. He growled before getting up, and trotting out of the apprentices den and to the fresh-kill pile. He picked a Mouse from the top and ate it ravenously.


Cinderpool ~ She-cat ~ 24 Moons ~ Warrior
Cinderpool Was an early riser, Being up at dawn. She had spent her morning collecting prey for the arising warriors who would be hungry in the morning. She had already had her choice of prey, and now she wanted to go to the river.

She leaped up onto the cobblestone fence next to her brother. "What''ya doin?" She meowed, lapping her paw and drawing it over her ears.


Tigerlily ~ She-cat ~ 36 Moons ~ Warrior (blind)
The blind tabby she-cat flicked her ears, stalking up on a vole. Once she sensed it look away, she leaped and pinned it, killing it with a swift bite. She purred in pleasure, drawing in the fresh scent of blood.


Leafpaw ~ She-cat ~ 13 moons ~ Apprentice
Leafpaw growled playfully at Sootpaw. "Watch where you kick us!" She called after him, Accidently slamming into Skypaw. She laughed and smiled, apologizing to Skypaw.

Skypaw smiled, rubbing her head. "It's okay, Leafpaw." She said happily. Quickly avoiding the other apprentices, she bounded out of the apprentices den and trotted over to Sootpaw.[/size]

"Hm?" Lavenderdrop perked her ears up at the sound of her name being called. Of course, it was the Clan leader, Oakstar, calling out to her. The sleek she-cat silently bounded over to his den, paws padding softly on the earth beneath them. "Yes, Oakstar?" She asked, dipping her head to him before she spoke.

Hungry after awaking from a restless sleep, the young apprentice padded over to the fresh kill pile with her brother, chatting softly with the perky tom. Not looking where she was going, she tripped over a bundle of fur beneath her, gasping in surprise. Quick to regain her balance, she looked at the familiar apprentice, Sootpaw, with fear in her eyes. "I-I'm so sorry!" She stuttered out, nervous he would get angry with her. "I didn't mean to, honest! I promise to try and look where I'm going next time...!"

He was surprised to feel someone bump into him, and turned around immediately. He shrugged to Oceanpaw and Put his tailtip on her shoulder and chuckled. "Relax. I'm not going to get mad at you." He said in a friendly tone. He shook out his pelt, before yawning sheepishly.

"Would you mind taking out a border patrol?" He asked in a grim voice. "We need to make sure there are no rogues or kittypets trespassing." He assured her, flicking his tail. "If you do see anything, Report to me. Or, If you can, bring them to me." He meowed.

The lithe tom shrugged. "Nothing really. I was wondering.. I was wondering how it feels to be a clan cat." He meowed to her nervously. He flicked his silver tail in anxiety.

Firework's eyes widened, surprised her brother had even thought that. "Are you completely mouse-brained!?" She gasped. "Those cats eat live rabbits for breakfast and feast on Kittypets for dinner!" She said, shaking at the thought.

Letting out a sigh of relief, she nodded, her head lowering in an embarrassed manor. "O-Oh, yes, of course...sorry," she murmured, glancing up at him, her tail flicking gently behind her.

Cloudpaw laughed at the whole scene, bouncing over to get a piece of fresh kill to share with his sister. "C'mon, scaredy cat!" He playfully teased, dropping a plump sparrow beside her. "Aren't you gonna eat?"

The young deputy nodded eagerly, looking up at him. "Of course! I've been smelling some odd kittypet scents lately near the borders...it's probably best we check them out."
Lavenderdrop looked out at the cats, scanning the camp, trying to find the right ones to take. Her apprentice, Oceanpaw, was eating right then, so she decided she would give her a break. "Shallowrain and Cinderpool!" she called out, waiting for them to come to her. "Border patrol!"
