Hmmm, well I really like the outcome except for a few things that are bugging me about this line art. The neck and head seems to be held in a slightly akward position, from my perspective. Plus the fact the mane stops short of the ears, but continues past it threw me for a loop their. XD

All and all, very gorgeous artwork though! I love the hooves, legs and tail especially <3

I saw the thread and didn't have an opportunity to respond so I'm glad it's been resurrected, particularly since I'm the one who coined the phrase "roadkill pose."

My best guess is that Equimagine, apparently an American, simply got the joke. Southern Americans have a strange affection for roadkill as evidenced by the popularity of various Roadkill Cafes. I hasten to add that it's not really roadkill dished up, but, well, here, you have a peep for yourself at the jokey menu:- You Kill It, We Grill It!

It seems the joke caught on since Google tells me there's an Australian Roadkill Cafe variant You Kill It, We Grill It! - Aussie style

Although it's been many years since I've lived in the USA, my comments came from a place of real affection rather than any critique. Hopefully, Equimagine, at least perceived that much.

Today is the 20th so they turn 19 days old . There is no 0th day of the month so they won't be 20 days till tomorrow.

Why are you correcting her? She did write it correctly lol. The Japanaese don't write in romajii (romanized version of the language).

I know i was ASKING i frogot the ? cause the dog are so cute am still learning japanese and i have yet to learn how to read and write Kanji plus i dont think that has ANYthing to do with you

I find that the horses look very accurate in my opinion. =] It's funny because one of my horses actually goes over trotting poles like that. He's so funny. He doesn't like them and he kind of tip-toes through them and it looks like he's cantering.
Gotta love him though.
I love the eyes too. All-in-all, the horses are stunning.

Looks like a good variation of anArabian to me. Go google image Arabians. They ALL hold their head funny like that and the bridle path is always cut very long like that.

they make me think of a filly (well now shes a mare) my grandma has and she looks like that when she plays

Arabian horses are excatly like that. And the way the mane stops and then goes on is simply that the horse has something called a bridle path. The bridle path is the place behind a horse's ears that is kept shaved and clean and pretty. I ride Arabians, and yes, they do look like that. It kinda irks me you're caling this a mistake of some sort, as it is perfectly correct.

On another note, I squeeled when I saw the horses, equi! You are so talented! *hugs*

I think horses are great. At first they seemed strange to me but when I looked closer... they are great:D:P
