I wonder if anyone ever found my underground base which was at bedrock level. I had a bunch of farms down there including a small tree farm. I also had a spot set up to put an enchanting room too but never was able to find more than one cow so didn't get too far on that, lol. The entrance to my base was pretty well hidden too (I covered it in grass and it was at the base of a jungle tree next to a little cove like area), but I did a lot of caving and strip mining, and there was a giant ravine right next to it, so I'm sure someone was bound to run into it at some point, lol.
I found a total of 3 dungeons (two of them were right next to each other actually) and an abandoned mineshaft (the spiders almost got me). I also found a couple of other people's underground bases too but I didn't touch anything or leave signs (the thought did cross my mind though, lol), just explored them a bit and then left, lol.
I think I might have found your base! It was in the jungle with grass covering a wheat farm by a little cove of water. There were stairs that went down to a ravine and also a room with some chests, a bed, and a furnace. I left a sign that said "hi there." It was fairly late in the month when I found it, though. Not sure if that's the one you are talking about- I don't think I remember a tree farm or the room being anywhere close to bedrock level, but I didn't bother to explore the ravine, just the staircase (it was two wide cobble stairs I believe). I think I found it through another cave on the edge of the jungle near the water.
As far as other bases, I found a few stair cases down here and there, and then I believe it was Stonefly's house (it had acacia wood, out in the swamp, and I know that there was no savannah biome in the map so it must have been put in with creative).
My base was in the mountains near the jungle. There was a lone, giant oak tree that was near the edge of the mountain. About four blocks away from the tree on the east side there was a poppy flower- if you dug out the three grass blocks in front of it to the base of the tree, you uncovered a staircase. It was two levels- first level had a bunch of furnaces, a bed, a crafting table, a juke box, and a chest full of records. The lower level had my farms- a chicken farm, a cow farm, and a small garden where I managed to get every crop- that'd be wheat, potatoes, carrots, melons, pumpkins, and also netherwart. I had my sugarcane farm outside down by the water at the base of the mountain by the tree. Most of the time I tried to make it look natural, with only three sugarcane growing and not all side by side, but sometimes if I needed a lot, I had a whole row. Also in the lower level were all my storage chests, and what was an enchanting room that was later moved to my skelly grinder and became a second storage room (although an extra enchanting table and anvil were left in the room in case I needed to do small enchants or combining tools/books). There was a trap door that opened to a ladder that went all the way to level y12, that had my nether portal, branch mine, and lots of connections to caves.
My skelly grinder was also in the mountains. On the opposite side- the east side of the mountain- there was a space near the edge where there were no trees and some short hills. There was a single poppy flower next to one of these hills, where, just like with the tree, if you dug the three grass blocks on the north side of it, there was a stair case that went down to a ladder, which went down to about y12 or so, where I found a skelly dungeon and turned it into an XP grinder. My enchanting room was kept there so I could easily grind- which is probably what I spent most of my time doing besides caving and exploring the map, so I ended up with an excess amount of arrows and bones. I noticed that the skeletons, after killing I think over 5000 of them, never ever had any special drops- no bows or armor, just arrows and bones. Not sure if that's a thing with spawners or something. Regardless, it did help me get a really nice diamond sword (I believe it was sharpness IV, unbreaking III, looting III) and a nice bow I named "Brannskada" after the flame bow upgrade you can get on the Playmindcrack server's game Camelot (it was flame I, power V, punch I... I think. Also I believe it had unbreaking III). However I got very very unlucky with sword and armor enchants most of the time... in the chests at the skelly grinders, there was one chest with probably 8+ failed diamond swords that had 30 levels on each, ending up with lots of smite and fire aspect but nothing else. Lots of failed diamond armor pieces, most ending up with fire protection and nothing else. Took me forever to get my final set- all diamond, the helmet had fire protection III, respiration III, and unbreaking III, the chest had projectile protection IV, unbreaking III, the pants I believe had protection IV, unbreaking III, and the boots had feather falling IV, protection IV, unbreaking III. The boots were the hardest- I had to enchant a lot of books to get feather falling finally.
Oh! And my tools- my good pick axe was called "Ruffian" and was efficiency V, unbreaking III, then my good shovel was called "Zenyatta" and was the same, and I had another diamond pick without a name that was efficiency III, fortune II. Never made a nice axe. Normally I like to make an axe called "Treepamir's Choppa", based off of Etho's "Treetho's Choppa", with sharpness V, unbreaking III, efficiency V, but I just never got around to getting enough books and levels for it.
