Ava saw the guy as she dropped her nature book down as he bumped into her and she picked it up putting it in her bag "it's fine, doesn't surprise me, I've been invisible the entire day" she says started to walk again, she was about to die, nothing was going right, her friend being mad at her but also getting beaten end then having to deal with Damon as she sat in the cold all night.

I noticed he was hurt, but I knew how it felt to want no one to notice it, so I made sure not to mention family. "This is my first time here...have you been here before?" I should probably shut up sometime soon. I thought. But he doesn't seem to mind for the moment. Strike that. He seems very annoyed, but he hasn't killed me yet, so I think I'm good.
