"Snow." Strider snarled lowly. He lowered his head, and turned his eyes to stare into her. "Where is your respect for your pack? You have a responsibility here. If you leave, you never come back." He shivered, a hot wave of adrenaline rushing into his head. "You belong here, and you want to become a traitor for some loner," his words tasted foul in his maw, "You will stay." His voice raised again, "How can everyone not see the bigger picture here? Is everyone so oblivious?" She leaves, she is a traitor to this pack. I should already have galaxy's hide for causing such a disruption here, where he doesn't even belong. How did my pack get so full of loners in one day? As if the ground shaking was not enough. He clamped his eyes shut tightly and a growl rumbled uneasily in his chest. How has my pack fallen so far apart? Such disruption, disrespect. Emotions in me have risen to such a strong level; the last time I felt so strongly was when my family died. I will not let this family fall apart as well. I will bring order back. He pawed at the ground with his long claws, breathing loudly through his nose.

Panting, Trek shoved himself up from his faceplant in the grass. What should I do? What can I do? The choices I have been given are so poor. Sister was right. Life is unfair. He bent his head up at the cloudy sky, closing his eyes and observing the light trying to slip through his eyelids. I need to go back to Plasma. I can follow the edge of the River pack's land, and the Mountain pack doesn't seem to have anything against me. Yet. Maybe Strider just needs to cool down. He huffed and brought his head back down, looking over the familiar land around him. How the grass swayed, the specific trees he had weaved around as a pup. Everything was much easier then. He paused, Actually.. not so much. Father working himself too hard. Sister starving herself to death. Mother. Her getting sick, and her death. All of these bad things.. I need to bring some joy into the world. Into my world. He sighed and stood up, breaking into a trot across the field, heading back into the trees. using his sense of smell, he stayed a good distance from the pack's land, taking the long way back to Alegra and Plasma. Alegra. So kind, so giving- to take in a pup that isn't even her own. Such kind eyes, such a pure coat. He found his mind wandering, recalling the events of the day as he plodded along.

Snow knew. " I know alpha. But I have never known anyone like I have known galaxy. " she said. " galaxy. We have to go. And I am coming with you." She said to galaxy.

He heard her voice speak to him. "No, the only one going is me." He looked up at her with strong eyes. "You, you have to stay here, this is where you belong, I am too weak to even take care of myself. You don't belong to die out there, well, at least I wasn't supposed to be alive by now." He took a good look at snow, then tried getting back on his feet. It was painful to his chest and to his sore legs. Once he was on his feet, he turned around, looking at her. "It was nice meeting you."

"No! Let me help you. " she said helping him stand. She lead him away, into the forest. Her gaze was soft with the injured brute. " we will go find treck and make our own pack. " she said gently to him.

With a subtle cringe, Strider spoke slowly. "You're making a big decision. Using your head. You know it's safer here." His eyes cold, Strider turned. He could feel his anger growing cold, into a pit in his stomach. His legs felt stiffen, heavy, with responsibility and stress. I will bring back the order, he repeated in his head. A wind brushed through his russet pelt and he drew in a breath of the breeze. Glaring ahead of himself, he collected his posture. Raising his neck, he let his tail fall stiffly behind him, not raised, but down completely down. He straightened his legs, and tilted his head back, letting out a long, monotonous howl, a call to gather his pack. He glanced over his shoulder at Snow, his countenance emotionless, his eyes blank. He watched as they left. It felt as if Snow was attached to him, like a stitch, and she just tore free, reopening the wound. How many more will I lose? As he turned back and motioned to howl again, snow's words, barely audible anymore, tried to reach his ears. His pupils shrank and he shook, anger bubbling back up.

Trek flinched at the sound of a howl, crouching down and sliding to a stop. He looked around with wary eyes, then realized he was a good distance away. That sounded like Strider. He raised slowly back to his height, and padded forward in a fast walk. A little melody, managed to shove itself into his head, anchoring itself into the back of his mind. A soft tune, natural and calming. His breached into his mind, and he recognized the song, faltering in his steps. It was a song his mother used to hum while he and his sister fed, while they were very young. He wasn't even sure if he could see very well at that point.
They den was my world then. My mother, sister, father. The outside world was nothing, it didn't matter. The breezes that crept in, bringing in the strange, frighteningly new smells, it didn't matter as soon mother began to hum. Everything was calm then, like the eye of a hurricane. He picked his pace back up, tightening his throat to keep the song from slipping out from himself. He felt as if, if he hummed it as well- what if after it left his mouth, it never came back? And he couldn't give it to the wind, to the trees. This song was meant to be given to others.

RedWing *Red*

Red sat down and looked over the cliff. He could see the whole River Pack territory. It was amazing. The beauty of it all took his breath away. He looked around trying to find someone he could talk to. The large wolf lifted his head and gave a strong howl for anyone near to come to him. He looked back down and flicked a pebble off the edge of the cliff. RedWing watched as it made a small splash into the river. He sighed, his eyes looked sad and lonely. Nothing would make him happier than someone actually wanting to talk to him. Maybe Blade was near! She was sorta a good friend of his. And they are both warriors. He looked around and sniffed for her sent. Hopefully she would hear his howl.Or however blair could be near maybe even nova! just anyone would brighten his day...

Echo

Echo walked into camp with smile on her face. She looked around to all the other wolves who hurried around in camp. She walked over to one of the streams that flowed through camp and took a drink. The cool, crisp water tasted amazing and refreshing. The fea had just got back from a patrol. Echo's silver, black fur glittered in the light. Everything was calm in camp. She liked it but wanted to play! Deep down she was a pup and loved to run around and enjoy life. But she knew not to and that she had to stay alert for if something happened she would have to spring into action. She was a little bored though... Maybe she could talk to someone. Echo laid down and closed her eyes to rest for a bit.

Kato

Kato roamed through the woods bored. He liked being a loner but.. he just missed the excitment of being in a camp. He looked at his paws as he walked. His eyes started to close a little. The brute was tried from walking forever. He sat down and looked around sniffing the air to make sure no one was near. All was quite except for the birds who were singing their songs. He fell asleep for about 5 minuets before a ruslting noise came from behind him. His eyes opened and he jumped up. He looked to where the noise came from. Kato growled and slowly walked closer to the bush. A whimper came from it this time.. He looked in and saw a small pup rolling around. He backed up then looked back in. It was so small.. and all alone.. kate looked around and took another wiff of the air. Still no one was near. No one had been for atleast 5 hours. He stuck his head in and picked up the pup. Its eyes were still closed and ears still floppy. It sqeaked as it was picked up. Kato looked around and began to walk with the pup in his jaws. It began to rain lightly. He found a tree that had fallen over and crawled inside. The small pup snuggled into the brute's thick black silvery fur. Kato had a small smile wash upon his face. "I'll name you Alpha" He smiled.
