Spiritkit turned on her heel and immediately noticed a butterfly fluttering around the clearing. Squealing in delight, Spiritkit scampered after it, trying to bat it.

Not having anything better to do, Foxcloud settled down in the ground and watched Spiritkit. A shiver Ra down her spine as a cold wind blew around them.

Spiritkit uttered an disappointed mew as the butterfly hovered out her reach. Tail drooping, she turned away to find something else entertaining to do.

The ginger she-cat yawned and lay her head on her paws.

Spiritkit squeaked in happiness as she caught sight of another butterfly fluttering out the camp's exit. She scrambled after it, not knowing she wasn't meant to be outside the camp without supervision.

Without thinking, Foxcloud dozed off. When she was awoke she immediately sat up-Spiritkit was gone.

Spiritkit chased the butterfly until it disappeared out of her sight. Again, she sighed in disappointment. She turned towards Foxcloud-no, wait... she was in the forest. No Foxcloud. Spiritkit glanced around wildly, realizing she had no idea where she was. Fearful, she huddled under a bush, blaming herself for being so foolish.

Foxcloud stood to her paws and bounded out of camp. "Spiritkit?" She called frantically, scenting the air.
