Lily smiled and ravenously ate the mouse. She licked her jaws then cleaned her paws trying not to move much.

Sootpaw rolled has eyes. "I know there's more to life then changing Elders' bedding. Than having to go out of camp with a warrior." And there went his mouth, letting out what he had to say.

Nightwhisker sat up and looked at her. "I'll let you rest now.@ he murmured.

Lily nodded. "Thank you so much." She mewed.

"Starclan, why can't I just be a warrior already. Mouse bile and ticks is not what I expected.."Honeypaw agreed.

Sootpaw smiled and nodded at her. "Exactly."

"Of course." Nightwhisker replied. "It's a medicine cat's duty to care for others." The medicine cat smiled and walked away.

(Lily was injured and is currently staying in the medicine cat's den, along with Jaywing who has hypothermia. I don't think there are any new posts for Spiritkit.)

Leopardstrike shrugged. "Hey, I'm just saying to enjoy your youth while it lasts." He stopped when the scent of woodpecker drifted into his nostrils and saw the black-and-white bird pecking away at a tree. Tail lashing determinedly, he charged up the tree and thrust his paw forward, but the woodpecker dodged with ease and took to the sky. "Aww..."

Jaggedbolt took a walk outside of camp, he recalled his 'conversation' with Hazelstar earlier. Why am I such a mouse brain! He kicked a stone with his paw. A small twinge of pain shot up his paw. "Ow!' He spat in pain. He licked his paw a little bit, "Gosh Starclan that hurt.."

Nice one..Honeypaw thought laughing a bit.

Leopardstrike jumped down from the tree. "And that, my dear Clanmates, is how not to catch a woodpecker," he joked. Only a couple of minutes later, he had successfully caught a wood mouse.

Sootpaw laughed. "Why since you're so 'old' you can't catch a woodpecker?" He joked.

Cherrynose looked at Sootpaw then Leopardstrike waiting to hear his reply.
