@fireflii
Awesome!!! And no worries xD I'm the queen of slowness with roleplays sometimes lol!
I can definitely whip one up on the 1x1 forum if that's agreeable to you (:
Ahaha this will be fun <3
Also I had a question...I know that Flox keep their eyes closed in order to contain the memories of their past but...with awakened Flox would this mean that they can access and remember their past? And how does this work for Catharsis Flox? Do they know anything about their history? Or not so much?

Do not ask for any of my pets or items, thank you.
Do not pm me. If i get one I won't read it.
If I lost a tryout contest winner is free to the art in my form. If I won you CAN pm me for this only reason. Title the pm, "You won!"

During the Locked and Catharsis stages, the floc is constantly viewing its history like a movie that keeps repeating itself. The primal flox created this closed-eyes seal so the flox would always remember the find line they walk between virtue and corruption. So in a way, during the locked and Catharsis stages, the flox is in the process of memorizing its history, whereas in its Awakened stage the Flox understands its place in history and is able to control their psychic powers better having learned the weight of the history behind it.

How can they live like that? That would involve mad multitasking skills. Can they tune it out, or does tuning it out cause corruption? If not, other than the whole, you know monster thing, what causes corruption? because if it was just the monster, wouldn't almost every single floc be corrupt? Also, what influence does the monster have on the floc? What does corruption change in a floc (because I saw some bloody serious change back there) Do awakened flox have stronger and more ranged talents? Like if a catharsis floc had the power to create balls of light (if someones floc actually does have this power, I'm not talking about them, sorry) after awakening can they hold the light longer, make it bigger and brighter, and maybe even make beams of light? Can awakened flox still levitate if they want to? Does this mean awakened flox can go into water and swim(instead of being caught in between panicked splashing and levitating at the surface)? Ok I'm gonna stop all this word vomit right here, because seriously, lookit all that... yeah sorry.

Flox do not exist in the same state of mind as humans at all, haha. Watching the scenes of their history does not distract from sensing their surroundings, which they accomplish through senses heightened by psychic powers/telepathy.
The "monsters" exist within every floc, and over the years it has been bred into the species so that corruption is just as much a part of the flox as their virtue is.
Flox decide on their nature (virtuous or corrupt) through the decisions made in their life. This is symbolized by the items used during catharsis. Items with a corrupt affinity represent "bad" choices where items with a virtuous affinity represent "good" choices. When enough of these choices accumulate and they are brought to the catharsis chamber where they react with their planet's original core, the nature that they have taken on manifests itself in a physical form. In the unlocked Catharsis stage, Corrupt Flox have four horns and a dark aura whereas Virtuous Flox have one horn and a light aura. In the Awakened stage, Corrupt and Virtuous Flox keep the attributes attained in the previous catharsis, but add on either corrupt or virtuous wings along with opening their eyes.
As a Floc goes through catharsis, more and more of its psychic energy is unlocked, so its psychic abilities strengthen and develop accordingly.
Yes, Awakened Flox are better at swimming than they were in their Catharsis stage. They can also hover if they want to, but keep in mind that hovering is energy-consuming. (Catharsis/Locked Flox have to spend a lot of time concentrating on hovering/not hovering, which is part of the reason why their other psychic abilities are nonexistent or weak.)

@Akami
Aaaah that is so sad D:
At the same time its absolutely perfect for the history and fan fiction I've been working on. Gaaah, poor Killian and all the other Flox </3 Such a brilliant species really, I mean there's such a depth to them and such unique concepts. Flox are swiftly becoming my favourite species wow :'D
Out of curiosity...would anyone be interested in reading a fan fiction about Flox? I'm thinking of pursuing the idea I had which involved the first Flox that found themselves on earth, basically about their struggle to live with the knowledge of the monsters within themselves, the destruction of their home planet, etc. etc. It'll be pretty sad but interesting to read I think (: Also include the first keys and keyholders...just my own take on the "First Generation" haha
