Dog got a bath. Dog then was asked to pose for pictures. Dog not very happy.

That first one looks very pose-y.

Please don't quote a post with images right above yours. At least snip out the images. It's highly annoying and can cause some people's internet to lag or browser/computer to slow down.

She's giving appeasement signals (showing the whites of her eyes/looking from the side, nose pointed down, in the second picture looking completely away from me) and her upper lip is stuck in her bottom one because she had been licking her lips. She doesn't like baths nor does she like the camera.

Hates them with a passion. She gets the shakes when she realizes she's going into the tub and just gives me puppy dog eyes the entire time. Then when she's done, she's so relieved xD She'll actually stand on her hind legs with her front paws on the edge of the tub, which I'm sure causes her a great deal of pain, and bark at me to hurry up with the towel. But, ya know, if you didn't go rolling around in poop and dead things, I wouldn't have to bathe ya, dog.

Barnabas shuts down.
He hears 'bath' and he
hides under my bed.
When I actually get him
in the tub {30 minutes later}
he hunkers down and shakes
while I bathe him. The whites
of his eyes are always showing,
and he yawns, licks his lips and
drools. He never makes eye
contact with me while he's in the
bath. I try my hardest to make
bath time easier on the poor guy,
but nothing works :/

Ok, I need some advice.
I really want another dog but my parents don't.
Last year we had to put my other dog down, and my mom is still upset about it.

We have a dachshund and is around 12 years old, I love her so much but I want a dog to call my own.
So I just asked my parents how they would feel and my dad said we aren't getting one because he doesn't want to commit to one for 15 years. Though I'll be moving out in a few years so I would take the dog with me.

How could I convince my dad to get me the dog?

Yes chockers hurt dogs that pull
If they lunge it could do damage if it's only a thin chain

They're called choke chains for a reason. They literally choke the dog.
