Darkstar paced around and once honeyfern returned he let out a yowl of sadness before jumping up and calling his clan to a meeting." Phantomclaw is dead, I take honeyferns word for it if she found his blood", he said. He then looked up at the stars." I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors and phantomclaw may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of brokenclan is stone-eye", he added.

Thornpaw looked up hearing this and tears ran down his cheeks

Stone-Eye bowed his head at the news, not giving away that it was him. And hearing that he was deputy he stood up.

Swamp-Paw saw Thornpaw and frowned, carefully he walked up to him. "Hey are you okay?" he asked softly.

Snowpaw listened to Silverpaw's words, "Don't worry, he'll be fine." He said confidently, putting his tail around her comfortingly.
When Snowpaw heard Darkstar's words he couldn't believe it, Phantomclaw couldn't be dead! Could he?

Whitepaw

Whitepaw had been carefully putting her new tansy away when she heard Darkstar call a clan meeting. Phantomclaw was dead! By the border! Whitepaw instantly began scolding herself. It's all my fault... she told herself again and again. I should've found him! I could have helped him! She retreated back into the Medicine Cat's den to cry.

(I know that Serenity became Creamkit and Stone-eye tried to kill Phantomclaw and now the clan thinks he's dead)

Thornpaw flattened his ears he didn't want to believe that his mentor was dead phantomclaw had protected him for many seasons and was a close friend to him."No", he said.

Silverpaw smiled but it faded when she heard the news she then flattened her ears and closed her eyes knowing phantomclaws strong loyalty to the clan
