Camp Half Blood - Not Accepting

When they reached the stables, Jack headed straight for a stall near the middle. "This is my Pegasus. He doesn't have a name yet, because none of the ones that I could think of were good enough for him." A bay winged horse thrust its head through the bars of the stall. "So I refer to him as 'the horse.' " Jack smiled and stroked its neck gently.

[Evanlyn]

Liz heard Jack and whispered something in Xenas ear. Xena neighed and slowly walked to Jack. She put her nose in his back and blew.

Liya smiled and pet his horse's nose. "He's very pretty." She said then looked back at Jack to see another pegasus standing behind him and she couldn't help but laugh.

Jack jumped and yelped. "What the...? Oh, gods, it's only Lizzie. And her Pegasus." He shook his head, grinning. "You're evil, you know that? In a good way, of course."

[Evanlyn]

Liz grinned an evil smile "I know...but it was Xena's idea!" She said, pointing at the pegasus. Then she looked at Jack's pegasus "Haven't you given him a name yet?" She asked.

"Yeah, right. And no, he doesn't have a name yet...none of them seem to fit." He looked at his Pegasus again. "I mean, calling him something like "Stormy" doesn't seem to work."

[Evanlyn]

"Nope" Lizzy admitted, she took a deep breath and said "Thunder, Flash, Dauntless, Knight, Jace, Rory, Aladin, Ayden, Shadow, Bay, Arrow, Roan, Spot." She said, and she sighed.

"Yeah." Jack shook his head. "Tried and true names, every one of them, but they just don't work."

[Evanlyn]

"Maybe something Greek?"

"Maybe. I've given up trying to decide on a name. Something'll pop up eventually, and it'll fit him like a glove."
