first stars :: truth or dare

Luciem flicked his ear in appreciation for the joke. /something i'd say/ he thought in amusement. /i didn't know i sounded so lame/ He looked up a little, vaguely recognizing Jett. /alright. i need some entertainment. i can always pass in this .. game./ He returned to the group and took a seat next to the girl. He noticed the heart in her chest promptly, but didn't say anything. His own firefly's light flickered a bit.

"Darn." Ayan grumbled under his breath,he was always better at coming up with dares. He considered, looking up at the ceiling in thought before he looked over and gave the other male a slight grin "Have you ever been in love?" he questioned.


Tsura just snorted in amusement. She expected this question out of Ayan sooner or later; so focused on finding that love of his. She vaguely shifted her gaze to look at the guy who'd sat next to her, glancing at the fireflies as they began to light up, but not thinking anything of them. She half-heartedly wondered if he thought the game just as asinine as she did.

Jett seemed to consider the question very thoughtfully, a serious expression coming over him for a moment. "In love," He hummed softly as he thought about it, and after about thirty seconds, he gently shook his head. "I'm not sure I've ever been in love just yet - I don't really know anyone well enough for that. But..." He paused, slyly glancing over at Zaxby, "... there are some that I think I've come very close with. Not quite love, but definitely like-like." He smirked softly, adding, "I suppose it's my turn to pick someone to go now?"

Zaxby had lost interest in the game as he played with his fingers, something he did when he was bored or nervous, before perking up at the sound of the word "love". he looked from Ayan to Jett curious to why he asked this particular question and to the answer as well. what was he going to say? they barely knew each other, so any love he must have experienced was most likely past tense. a thousand thoughts swirled in his head as he waited for Jett's answer. a blush came over Zaxby's face as the answer he was not expecting came out before his eyes, or rather his ears. he smiled as his ears pinned back at the thought of Jett having romantic feelings for him; the thought made his heart swell.

"Yes,it's your turn." Ayan answered, casting Zaxby a slight glance and giving him a knowing nod. He knew precisely what he was doing when he asked the question. He sighed lightly in relief; Man he was glad that was over. Hopefully it would be a long while before anyone picked him.

Tsura smoothed some of the fur of her tail; she wasn't vain but she always did her best to look as neat as possible. Her motherly instincts were bothering her- she wanted to fix the hair of the guy next to her; but she knew it would be awkward if she did, so she focused on herself instead.

Jett took a quick glance about the room, pondering on who he should choose before he settled on the slightly familiar looking first star standing slightly off from the others. "You," He called, pointing at him, not wanting to be rude but not sure how to get his attention apart from that. "Truth or dare?" He added, waggling his eyebrows rather amusedly, glad that he didn't have to be the center of attention any longer.

Luciem looked up quickly, unsure if Jett was referring to him. He wasn't quite sure the answer to the question, being so busy pretending not-to-be there. "Me? Uh, dare?" he asked unsurely, fear flickering in his crimson eyes. /oh god he's probably going to ask me to jump off a cliff or ..../

Jett's grin grew slightly as he realized they were going to have their first dare of the game, he had to think up something good. His brain flickered back to past games, remembering dares that he'd done or dared others to. "Hmmm... sing the chorus from your favorite song in the most ridiculous voice you can manage." He said, wishing he could have thought up something better, but put on the spot, it was the best he could think of at the moment.

Luciem blinked. "The hard part of this is choosing a favorite song." he said dully, turning back down to the floor rather sullenly. /I don't listen to music that much/ he sighed. /not enough to know one word from any song./ "Can I pass?" he complained weakly, not putting any enthusiasm into the game and glancing at the door. /if he says no I'm breaking for it/ he decided.

Jett smiled rather devilishly. "Well, I could always give you another dare, but it would probably be even worse than that one - you could look up a song or something? Or sing with the radio? There's got to be some type of device around here that can play music." He shrugged his shoulders with a look that was rather unconcerned, wondering why this guy couldn't do a dare when everyone else in the room had already agreed to it.
